I’ve had good luck so far with working on a few mid 2000 Honda vehicles. On a 2007 Pilot I was able to recalibrate the SRS after clearing an Pulser and Sensor failure error message I have had for several years. I was able to clear the code and then the special functions available was successful in resetting it and I haven’t had any issues since.I was also able to use the scanner on the same vehicle and with the high update speed of the graphs I was able to track down an acceleration issue we have seen for a few months. Using the scanner on the Throttle position and the APP sensor I found that the APP sensor appeared to be developing some dead spots whereas you pressed the accelerator pedal the input would start to climb and then drop back down before climbing again. This matched what we were seeing when holding the pedal from around 10% to 20% open. I replaced the APP sensor, and it now has a smooth curve and the issue is gone.In my short time owning the D9 there have been several updates although most were not vehicles, I have access to, but it is nice to see the updates coming. I’ve had good communication from the xtoolTech staff, and they have followed up with me on several occasions when I have made suggestions or possible new features. If they can keep updating the device and adding new features, I believe this to be a great bargain for the DIY crowd.I would like to see a few improvements around graphing and a few more options on scaling those graphs. Maybe a few more options when saving recordings and a delete confirmation before you remove a recording. I was happy to see it had been updated to Android 10 I believe as I know some of the other models and maybe even this one had quite a dated version on release.So far, I’m extremely happy with the device and think it will just continue to get better if the response I have received from the support team continues.Thanks

Scanner looks really nice but won’t scan 80% of the cars I plug it into, has lots of issues when it does link up, and has misdiagnosed a car. Made me and my shop look bad. I’ve updated it may times with fixes. Attempts at customer support have been made with no response. Don’t waste your money. Better to buy a name brand like autel.

This tool does everything as advertised.4. I am happy with the performance of this unit.Very easy to use. Case provided is well organized and protects all of its contents.Any codes, active, hidden, or permanent that were found were corrected of just a one off incident and deleted. Doing function checks and tests using this unit was beyond my expectations.As a picky amateur, being able to go to the STEALERship mechanics with the correct error codes and live snapshot help me keep them somewhat honest.Again, I am very happy with what this product and the abilities if itTheir tech support is awesome. They respond in a timely manner. If you have issues. Just give them your vehicle VIN and they will help you with your specific problem.

What a great tool. I went with the D9 because I really like the topography and the larger screen. Will show you codes that the “idiot lights” on the dash won’t. For example I have a bad temperature damper motor on the passenger side. It’s summer so blowing cold fine, but heat not so much, would have had no idea until blowing cold in winter. If you educate yourself a little bit you can learn vast amounts, for example you can look at your fuel trim values both short and long term, which can tell you a lot. You can record all the live data as you drive say 65mph on highway and record the data which you can view anytime in the future as it is saved on the tablet, do it again in a few months and see if something is brewing. It’s just a great way to monitor your vehicles health and keep your vehicle out of the repair shop or at least know what’s wrong with it before you go!

I bought this to map out a picoscope view of my Cam and Crank sensors to check my timing on my 2007 Lexus ES350. It does not read either sensor at all.I tried to use it to program keys on a 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid and a 2019 Lexus NX300h. Despite updating the software to the latest software, it doesn't show ANY of the NX models and couldn't program Highlander past 2018. Returning it now.

I was having a problem with my Hyundai Elantra GT with power reduction I connect my xtool went to read live data and find out my 2 oxygen sensor were reading same reading the up stream and down stream they were mirror each other's that's only happen when you catalytic converter is going bad that was my problem with power reduction

I had bought it for a few days, but very disappointed not able to retrieve mode 6 data, manual was not well written and no technical support. Also it doesn’t turn on/off the purge system on a Subaru. As for the coding function, that does not work out well. If you need an advanced tool, ignore this one.

Likes are as follows, very nice case and a complete array of hardware to access most any vehicle that supports obd1 and obd2.Dislikes are as follows, unable to access obd1 program, unable to contact support for help with provided info unless you call China for information which is costly and unsure if that would resolve issues, incomplete program for 1999 to 2006 gm software
