The snails seem to be very happy with this, they layed 200+ eggs shortly after! Not sure thats a hood thing! Will buy again. Quite soft to the touch compared to coconut substrate in block, that I usually buy.

Multiple uses
Shortly after buying this the snails were sent back home, but they seemed to enjoy spreading it around. I used what was left to plant a spider plant which is thriving nicely.
