Great slicing
I really like this slicer! I don't use it too often, but nevertheless, I'm kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. I received my Cuisinart processor as a wedding gift several years ago, but never watched the video which accompanied it. I finally watched it and saw what things I could do with additional slicing tools. I like using this to slice cucumbers and carrots. Very fast and even slices. The grater has been wonderful for cheese, saving me hours of pain that would be caused by doing it by hand.

Description and seller comments WRONG
I was looking for a replacement blade to use with my old Prep 9 (DLC-2009CHB). Seller states in a comment that this fits it. It does not! The stem does not fit and the width of the overall blade is maybe a quarter inch bigger. I looked on the Cuisinart site and the one I need is DLC-844TX. The one I got from this listing is DLC-044TX, which fits an entirely different set of food processors. This listing also falsely says the product is discontinued from Cuisinart but I looked up DLC-044TX on their website and they do offer it!Everyone saying that it does not fit their stem: That's because it's the wrong blade for your machine.So, my star rating is for this particular listing and seller's comments, not the product itself. It looks to be genuine Cuisinart.

Did Not Meet What I Thought I'd Ordered
I thought I was purchasing Cuisinart 4mm Slicing Disc w/stem. But when received no stem. Does not meet my needs at all. Stem needed.
