I have had two 3" wide by 5" long stretchy headbands to hold my hair back for at least 30 years. They have a tag on them, but the writing is worn off, so I didn't know where to find anything like them. I had to wash them by hand so that I would always have one and would sometimes forget. I decided to look on Amazon to see if anyone still sold them, and I found these little - well, not so little - gems. I don't know if the ones I own are microfiber since they are so worn out (but still very useable), but these are definitely microfiber and so soft and thick...and yet, they work just as well as my old, worn-out ones. I don't have a washer and dryer in my apartment, so I hand washed all six, and they took about 8 hours to dry - I will wash them in the laundry room from now on - but when dry, they are softer and thicker and stretchier than I ever expected them to be...and so very soft...oh, and they hold my shoulder-length hair back so I can wash my face, use a mask or put on make-up without hair falling in my face. So, I now have 8 headbands and can throw them in the wash instead of hand washing them every time I use one. Did I mention that they work really well and are super soft? Unless you have a buzz cut, you need these!!

These wideband headbands are excellent! They really cover a lot of your hair which keeps the hair out while you're washing your face. They're not too tight and easy to wash

Giving these for a gift ~ but the price n quality look promising for use . Colors are good as well as softness .

I got these for my massage studio because I had another one before the but elastic had worn out. The elastic on these is really good while still being comfortable and soft. Some people in the reviews had complained about the darker colors leaking onto the lighter colors in the packaging, but they must have heard the complaint because now they ship them with the darker colors in their own plastic so the color doesn't leak. I recommend these.

i have thick hair and i can put all in the headband when showering. thick and well made.
