Depends on air quality and how dense your local cbrn attack is in the air. Some canister could be used up with compete saturation of filtered poison . Others could last 30/60 days without use and even longer depending on what type of filtering you will need

will this fit a 3M 6700?

It will fit any mask that takes a 40 mm filter all NATO gas mask will take a 40 mm filter

Can this filter carbon monoxide?

Carbon Monoxide is a dangerous gas and can displace breathable air in a poorly ventilated, enclosed space.
