The first half of the directions are birds eye view which is very difficult. But beyond that for a majority (not all) of the steps have incorrect piece counts. There also is a part with a circle piece that is like physically impossible.

The end result of this set is quite pretty and there are more than adequate pieces to complete it. The reason I would not recommend this set is that I found a plethora of errors in the building guide. Most frequently there were discrepancies between the pieces listed for a step and the actual diagram for the step. Additionally there were places where the diagram was simply wrong, showing pieces that did not match previous steps and generally speaking the guide was lazily put together so that certain pieces of the structure were much more difficult to put together than they should be. Don't get me wrong, it's bit an overly difficult piece- it is less complex than the last two microblock sets I assembled- but I have never had such a frustrating time with a building guide. It's certainly possible to put together but unless you are particularly attached to the Aegean Sea and have a lot of patience, I would recommend finding a different kit.
