I purchased these to make participation awards for a Kids Fun run at a local 5K event. The kids absolutely loved getting the "medal" as they crossed the finished line. They were showing them off to everybody. Even the adults loved the inserts with our organizations logo inside. They were easy to make, but FOLLOW THE OPENING INSTRUCTIONS. It seems silly, but tapping the plastic disk on a hard surface really does cause the center to pop right out. It will make your project quick and easy.

Value for money:Wasn’t easy to open them. Having to hits them on a hard surface hoping not to break or chip one. I did chip one.

Loved them! Easy to use with a small suction cup. I used my son’s Stik Bot to pull out the acrylic disc and it worked great. Once I placed the artwork inside they didn’t move at all and looked great. You really get a lot for the price and people loved them. The ribbons were a bit short so I did replace the ribbon for longer ones to use on adults and it looked great. Overall super fun and easy to assemble.

Apparently it takes a suction cup to open these, but they don't include a suction cup. Ruined several of them using various tools and pounding on table like suggested. Used Avery 8293 for 1 1/2 stickers and they fit perfectly.

After spending at least 10 frustrating minutes trying to open just one of these frames, I almost sent these things back!The other opening instructions seemed conflicting and none of them worked for me. My goofy neighbor showed up and within 30 seconds had one opened! Here’s how …My first mistake was thinking these were like a clamshell that would open like a ladies compact. They’re not.The center disk pops out completely leaving a round frame. Along with the video, here’s the secret…One side of the unopened disk is flat, the other beveled.1: Hold the disk by the tab that connects the cord.2: Sharply tap the opposite edge of the disk BEVEL SIDE DOWN onto the table.3: After a few taps the center should pop out cleanly.Hopefully the video attached showing the procedureSlight learning curve but once this was figured out, we were able to open all but one quickly.Good luck!

Could not open Placing on a hard service and tapping did not work.

This is my second time buying it. I like the product itself, but it is hard to remove the back cover. Definitely my last purchase of this product.

So after reading the reviews I tried several different ways of opening them. The best way I found is with a suction cup!Stick the suction cup to the part that is inset and pull it right out! Worked perfectly and was easy to get them done!

A pesar de que al recibirlas sentí que era difícil abrirlas, al encontrar la forma correcta fue fácil, son rápidas de personalizar y útiles en diversas ocasiones. Tuve que cambiar el listón pues me parecía un poco difícil meterlas a la cabeza,bya que el listón con el que viene es muy pequeño.
