Had recently broken my right wrist . Had surgery. This putty helped a lot with my physical recovery. I would recommend the various putties offered. They are great .

Grapefruit home exercises to follow up with your PT appointments. It was a little stiffer than what I used for PT but still works great.

Great rehab tool after fractured wrist.

This is a good strengthening tool. I bought a Medium after having trigger finger surgery. The only downside is that if you accidentally press the wad against something that is rubbery, it will stick to it and not come off! I pressed my putty against a phone keypad and every button it touched was coated with TheraPutty and it took me forever to get off most of it. There is still some residue on some of the buttons, but it is almost impossible to get all of it off. So lesson learned, only hold it in your hand and only put it down in its container.

Excellent for therapy for trigger finger. Easy to use and really helps. May need therapist to show you how to get maximum benefits. Very worthwhile for me.

I broke two of my fingers (both displaced fractures of proximal phalanx of the little finger and ring finger). I was given the choice to get pins in my hands or just go with a cast, I went with the cast. When your fingers are broken and trapped in a cast for a month, after a splint 2 weeks prior, you experience a bit of atrophy. Trying to retrain my fingers is currently a journey. This putty is a very comfortable way to do so. I originally bought the "blue" not realizing there were different colors (strengths). The blue is way too stiff and hard to use for hand therapy in the beginning. So, I ended up ordering again and buying the "green." The green is also difficult, however, not rock hard like the blue. I would suggest the "extra soft"- to "soft" if you're starting out. The BEST advice I would give with this product is to buy all the colors in a set and work your way up in strength if you can afford that. Otherwise, I would get the 'soft' (or 'extra soft' depending on your injury and prior strength capabilities). This product is very cool, I love how it resets itself in the container to start all over again (meaning; it goes from a workable putty to a flat putty which works into a ball all over again via your hands, if that makes any sense, lol). Anyway, truly fascinating!

Love this TheraPutty for our son! It definitely helped with his hand gripping!

It definitely helps with the exercises my physical therapist gave me but it stained my hands green.
