RESTMO Outdoor Electrical Box IP44 Waterproof, Weatherproof Box, Black

This was exactly what I needed. I have an outdoor heater if low wattage and have an extension cable so it can reach my plug outside. It protects the plug from my heater and the plug from the extension cable as you can see to protect it from the rain. It seems sealed very well and I can't see how water will be getting inside. I can't comment on durability as I've only just got it. I will update review is water does get in and alter stars accordingly. It was quite easy to use and it's not too big which mattered for me as I just have the one plug. If you have a multi plug or more connections, it may be worth buying a larger electrical box but this was good for me.

Worked perfectly for our outdoor lights

I bought the RESTMO Outdoor IP44 Waterproof Connection Box to keep my garden lights and holiday decorations safe from the unpredictable British weather—and it’s done a great job so far. The build feels sturdy, and the seal is impressively tight. I’ve used it to protect LED strip lights and even a small fountain pump, and everything has stayed dry and secure. Setup was straightforward, and the internal space is generous enough to accommodate multiple plugs and adapters without feeling cramped. My only minor gripe is that the latch mechanism could be a bit smoother—it takes a bit of fiddling to get it to close perfectly every time. But once it’s shut, it’s rock solid. Overall, a reliable and well-designed enclosure that gives peace of mind when powering outdoor gear. Would definitely recommend for seasonal setups or year-round use

Seems a good product but it was not suitable for my use. Box was too narrow for one gang extension cable, timer switch and plug for my fountain. But concept good. Had to return for this reason

I was surprised how good these are in keeping out moisture. Use them on a cctv cable that needs a connector to join it to another cable and this keeps the connector dry.

It looks like it will do what it is supposed to do but it’s clearly not designed to be open and closed frequently. I’m using it to protect the plug and extension socket when using a jet washer but the main hinge and corner clips already show signs of stress fractures and it’s only been opened and closed twice.

Edit.... Nov 1st. Fantastic customer service. Saw my review and acted swiftly. Contacted me within hours, full apologis and concerned about my issue. Sent me a replacement straight away and received 2 days later. Gave me good advice. Hence dry as a bone after raining, so sometimes products are faulty beyond their control but customer service really does matter, and now changed to thoroughly recommend, and would buy from them again with full trust, many thanks. Bought in June 24. Started using a few weeks ago for my led garden lights, looked great and secure. All tightly fitted seals, then after a few rain falls a week later Leds went off, checked box and full of rain water. Hoping after electrics dry work again. But I can't understand if alls the seals were sealed correctly, all fastenings secure, how water has got into a waterproof box when the box is also off the floor???

This does exactly what it is designed for. Robust plastic and is large enough to hold an electrical adapter. Totally waterproof.

Great heavy duty case to protect outdoor electrical connections including device transformers that are not water proof. Bought to protect a few connections for outdoor lighting. I would highlight that they are a good size for connections and single device tranformer. As long as your not trying to place a power bar that will not fit and see no reason to do so. And good heavy duty, you can walk on top of these without damage. There are other similar products for cheaper but doubt they are heavy duty as these are advertised.
