Is this bangson mini fridge with freezer frost free or do you have to thaw it often?

This 2-door mini fridge with freezer is not frost-free, but you rarely need to defrost. The frosting is slow. And they donated a defrosting tool, which is very convenient to defrost. Even if it is a mini refrigerator, it is recommended to defrost every 3 months, which will be more hygienic and will increase the life of this retro refrigerator. I've been using it for a few days now, and it's working well. I recommend it to anyone who needs to buy a mini fridge.

In the back where the motor is one of the wires has insulation wrapped around it. Is this supposed to be insulated? I wanted to ask before use
