No:334 Sheath

The all leather 5" inch blade sheaf is very well made and the design is quite attractive. My husband loves it. The price is so reasonable for such a quality made sheaf.

Nice sheath, I have a knife with a wide blade, 1.6" x 5"...Knife fits beautifully but I had to trim some of the upper sheath even with the upper edge of the retainer strap because of the forward finger guard. You may also have to add another snap as I did to accomodate a fat diameter staghorn handle of my knife

Was online looking for a horizontal sheath for another of my knives and saw this one. Liked the looks of it and ordered it. It arrived in a very timely manner and I was happy with it when I opened the package, on first examination I found it to be very well out together and made from a very nice grade of leather. Real leather, not some of this PU "leather" crap that you tend to end up with these days. The design seems to be well thought out and it has multiple rows of heavy stitching where the most wear and tear happens on a owb sheath and two retention snaps to accommodate different thicknesses of handles, which is very handy. The band in the middle would enable you to horizontal carry in a "scout" position on your belt at your back, or even a "cross draw" on your left front, which are nice to have options. Overall it seems to be a pretty versatile design. I plan to apply a generous coat of mink oil to it to help preserve the leather but haven't gotten around to that yet.. Presently I have a cheap Remington 4.25" blade in it which works but is not ideal. The sheath cost more than two of the knives put together, but I will be looking for a more suitable knife to fill it in the near future. The price for the sheath seems more than fair from the material used and the manufacture process. Just having received it, I can't vouch for the durability yet, but the way it's made I don't expect any issues and expect for it to last me many years of use. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered 3 of these sheaths for knives I made for my grandsons. Good fit on the knives, shipping was a disappointment.

La seule chose de négatif que j'ai à dire, c'est que la corde utilisé pour relié les 2 côtés de l'étui est de piètre qualité et devra surement être a changer éventuellement.

i must say that it is beautiful and the workmanship is number 1, however the section of the handle is far too thin, not large enough to accommodate any handle, the little strap’s snap button wait too short...i understand it’s because the sheath was not molded to any specific knife, but the leather is so thick / rigid that you just can’t shape it yourself. i will try to soak it, but that with affect the finish..beautiful though!
