What is the difference between nespresso, nespresso by de longhi, and nespresso by breville?

Nespresso is, to put it simply, the brand name of a coffee machine. Other brands are available but Nespresso is one of the largest in the world. Typically they include coffee capsules (also known as coffee pods) to be inserted into the machine in question. But you really have to tack on the model of the machine when you talk about Nespresso brand. 
Lattissima is a specific range of Nespresso machines and represents a product line under the Nespresso brand. Typically, Lattissima machines refer to Nespresso machines designed milk-based espresso coffee (the clue is in the name – think latte!). They almost always have a milk tank clearly visible in the front of the machine by default. Some other Nespresso machines also have room to make milk based coffee, sometimes with the addition of an Aeroccino add-on. However, the Lattissima range explicitly has this as its signature selling feature.

DeLonghi is a third party manufacturer of Nespresso coffee machines. They are not unlike Krups and Magimix, two other brands that also manufacture certain ranges of Nespresso machines. DeLonghi makes a particularly large range of Nespresso’s Lattissima and are reported to be quite reliable.

which reusable pod works best with this machine

I use a My-Cap($13) w/AeroPress Micro-Filter($0.014) in a cleaned out Vertuo capsule. This method allows me to use my preferred coffee freshly ground in a burr grinder. (Fine grind/not espresso fine) The My-Cap disk is VERY expensive for what you get but it works. The 10 cent My-Cap filters don't work as well as the AeroPress filters which are available on Amazon as well as Target, etc., for a fraction of the price.
Remove foil from the Vertuo capsule, clean and use over & over. The Vertuo capsule is made of thin aluminum that has a necessary bar-code printed on the underside of the lip. Capsule is somewhat fragile so handle with care and it should last indefinitely. Results: Freshly ground coffee of your choice at a fraction of the cost, win win win.
Now if only Nespresso would make a machine that makes HOT coffee.
