I bought this metal chair base to replace a tired plastic item. The new base is metal, sturdy, wide for good stability, easy to put together and worked perfectly with my existing casters and lift cylinder. It was a little more expensive than I hoped but now I am using it I can see it is worth the price.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. The metal base feels durable and solid once put together. If wheels were included, this would be an even better complete set, but overall it works great and feels reliable.

Very happy my Jysk gaming chair had a cracked plastic base . I was able to assemble and fit this steel base in 25 minutes. Everything fits nice and the existing casters just pushed in. Using it for a week now with no issues. I would definitely buy again if needed, but this just feels right, sturdy and tight. Saving me from dumping a 200eur chair.

Bought this to replace a plastic base where all the wheels snapped off in the same place. The company where I bought the chair originally went bust, I wonder why? Anyway, this is a million times better, all metal and feels pretty sturdy. The original wheels fit fine and I've had no issues so far. It's easy to put it together and swap it out. It doesn't come with a gas cylinder - I think I saw a review somewhere that mentioned one. A thumbs up from me.

Base comes as a metal hub with 5 metal legs held on with 2 screws each, Allen key is provided. Just took 5 mins. Very sturdy. Takes all standard fittments. Ie 2 inch diameter cylinder, and 11mm by 22mm push fit fitment on the wheels.

Bought for my son's gaming room as the one he had on his chair were plastic and the plastic split on 2or 3 of the prongs the wheels fit into. Instead of spending 300.00 or more for a whole new chair nice alternative to just replace the part.

item received as per advertised & the chair base looks sturdy & well built...pretty much the kind of material me am looking for...hope it can outlast the default chair base which was not the metal type...easy to fix & install...overall am truly satisfied with the purchase...great pricing & highly recommended!!!

I bought a killabee gaming chair. It had hard plastic legs which eventually cracked. This thing saved me from buying a new chair

1. You need to assemble the base and spokes yourself, be careful not to cross-thread the small bolts with the tiny hex key (both are provided) 2. This will add significant height to your existing chair (not a bad thing)
