I have bought it only because my old best way filter Wes developing cracks on the filter body every year, decided to go for the fairy cheap filter and so far I am happy. Next day delivery was a bonus, as it originally was scheduled two days later. Filter itself was a breeze to set up. I am using filtration balls and it was a doddle to fill it. After removing the air pump works quite quiet. Pump itself being 90 W is very economical. So far I am very happy with this filter, but this is just the first day.

I'm really glad I decided on this sand filter pump rather than keeping the old cartridge style one. So much easier just to fill sand (it uses about 6kg which I purchased from a local pool shop as didn't want to purchase more than I needed). Then to clean the sand just backwash setting, so much easier than having to wash or change filters. I've had the water in the pool for 3 months and it's still crystal clear, just using a mushroom floater with a multi function tablet plus running the filter for 3 hours a day. Pump does take a little time to put together however instructions are really easy. Probably costs me about 50p a day so energy efficient too. Definitely worth buying. My pool is a 3m x 2m x 78cm with the 32mm fittings for reference.

Worked great for 3 weeks then just died. Checked fuse/power screen is unlit, shame as I really liked it 🤷‍♂️

Always used the standard small pumps and decided to upgrade to this one, so glad we did the water clarity and quality are just perfect. So much better than the standard ones. Great investment.

Blew up after 4 weeks of use but did work extremely well be fore hand

Anyone who has a 10ft steel pool (best way/intex) bin the filter pump you get with it and upgrade to this sand pump. My pool after 2 years trying to maintain super clear water is now sparking clear continuously. Best investment I made. I put 3 and half spoonfuls of chlorine in every night and run the pump for 4 hours and then run it in the Morning till the pool is used. I put 50 mls of clarifier in weekly. Just remember to backwash before every use of the pump. I did also buy the intex pool hoover for the fine particles on the bottom.

Absolutely perfect keeps water clean and clear

Finally got my kids pool set up for the Summer, Brought this pump as been recommended. Was all set up correctly and backwashed etc before filtering. was fine for a couple hours and lost pressure coming out, reading online i did a 3 minute backwash followed by a 1 minute drain and again was working fine. i thought must be the sand i got from a pool shop so went back and brough another at £20, set all up and its still the same works for a few hours then no flow but pump is on and the pressure gauge goes to 1. looking like i am going to have to get another so this could be a waste of money. Our pool isn't big so know the pump is more than capable of working for it.
