To address some of the negative reviews I’ve seen: Yes, I am a human being, and I truly believe some people need to understand their needs and the product they’re purchasing before leaving a review. This camera pole does exactly what it promises and more. If you’re looking for a top-tier, durable, and easy-to-use camera pole, this is it. It’s now an essential part of my gear, and I can’t recommend it enough.

PRO: Been using for 2 years for roof inspections. Stout, well made. Easy to extend and retract once you ensure each clamp screw is adjusted properly (not to tight or to loose). Use thread lock or add lock washer to maintain screw adjustment. I clamped (not too tight) a tablet holder to the base section to control the camera via wifi connection. Works for me. CON: *The foam hand grip could be better but ok for my part-time usage. Still ok after 2 years * Last extension to 24ft can be wobbly depending on camera weight. Rest base on the ground for stability * A big informational sticker was stuck to the pole near the foam hand grip. You have a sticky mess to clean up if you remove the sticker. A printed cardboard sleeve would be much cheaper to manufacture and recyclable.

Very fun to use with a trail cam. Wish the doc pole camera mounting was specifically rated/advertised/designed for the weight of a trail cam, but so far it’s worked great with ours! So far we’ve captured daily fun nature footage from all sorts of heights. We use the trail cam straight up on the pole (don’t want to put too much off center weight on the docapole camera mount). By using the pole to hold the trail cam, I can take the camera up and down in moments, no need for ladders or drilling holes. Pole very well made and sturdy. We liked the docapole so much, we bought a shorter one too and lots of cleaning attachments. The bird feeder hanger attachment has been helpful too. Levers well made, pole sections slide smoothly, nice quality overall. Definite asset for many uses. Hope this review is useful to you.

I am a home inspector and needed a telescoping pole to use for taking photos of rooftops with a wifi-enabled camera connected to my iPhone. After searching, I decided to give this one a try. The quality of the DocaPole is much better than I had expected for what I paid for it. It stows nicely in my car, one end nudged between the center arm rest and front seat, and the other through the rear seat trunk access. I highly recommend it. Of course, it is aluminum, so much care must be taken to avoid proximity to power lines.
