Goya Chick Peas, Garbanzo Beans, 15.5 Ounce

Love these beans for hummus or in a salad. The skin has been removed. Beans are tender and not salty. Goya products are not always available at my supermarket. Have used Goya for years and they’re always available on Amazon.

I use them when I am making hummas, and it comes out awesome, as I keep making extra as it is a hit with my friends, a lot better than store bought hummas. The can is loaded with the beans, a lot less water than other brands I have tried. All perfect look beans, no discolored at all and no broken pieces. Kind of hard to open the lid, but I just end up using an electric can opener as it is easier and just ab out as quick and safer to open. I drain out the water, throw into my blender and add the rest of the ingredients, squeezed lemon juice, peanut butter, garlic,olive oil, spices and I'm good to go 30 seconds later. (well, after 15min. of clean up, that is) And I like the best competitive price I get here and that the cans come in very well packed together, not denting like other online supplies I ordered from. A nice little touch.

Goya is the best brand for Chick Peas in my opinion and to find them cheaper online than at any grocery store is even better. Use then in salads,baked as a snack or as a meal time staple.

I made yummy hummus mmmmh. Love hummus it makes me 😃. Now I can have hummus on my toast best day of my freaking life.

Good product

Goya is expensive to purchase in a grocery store so when I found a great buy on Amazon, I now purchase the garbanzo, black beans and kidney beans. Once in a while the cans are slightly dented, but not enough to return. The quality of these beans is exceptional. Most canned beans appear over processed so you end up with a thick- watery juice that the beans are in. I rinse my beans before using and Goya are beautiful and taste amazing. Other brands are a waste of money to me because you get more liquid than beans, plus like I said before, they appear to be over processed.

If you can get these on sale, buy them. They add protein and texture to soups. Also great rinsed and added to salad. Blended with a bit of olive oil and seasoning they make a good dip. I can only afford these when on sale.
