How long is the shelf life for these MREs?

Hello,  The official shelf life of MREs is 7-10 years when stored at 70 deg. F (according to the Natick Research Labs MRE Shelf Life Chart).   
The minimum life specified in production contracts is 36 months at 80 deg. F.  
So, storage temp is the key factor.  At Long Life Food Depot, we get our MRE products directly from the manufacturers where they have been stored at 70 deg. or less, then we store them in a temp controlled warehouse until we pack them and ship to a fulfillment center where they are stored correctly. thanks, LLFD

Overall MRE Full Meal shelf life is 7-10 years when stored at 70 deg. F, according to the Natick Research Labs (Natick, Mass) MRE Shelf Life Chart.
However, the MRE Bread manufacturer states 3 years shelf life.  Most manufacturers and sellers do not want the liability issues of claiming a long shelf life.
Most grocery items claim a shelf life less than 1 1/2 years, so 3 years represents "extended shelf life".
Bread items currently in our MRE Bread Combo - 12 Pack have the following Calorie Counts:
Tortillas 220, Italian Bread Sticks 200, White Wheat Snack Bread 200, Multigrain Snack Bread 190 calories.
