Are sheep harmed in the making of this product?

Since I was not there when they harvested the horns I could not tell you the answer..however cows and sheep often have their horns removed so they don't harm other farm animals , I don't think they harm the animals when harvesting them and it is recycling the material they don't need..farmers protect their sheep they don't need their horns to do so. The comb is lovely to use.

how long is this comb?

The comb I have is 5 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide at the widest (my comb has a scalloped back, not smooth as shown in the picture that accompanied this question).

will this work on thick curly hair? I’m a guy

I have thick hair, which has body, but is not too curly. It works well on me, and I think that it would work well on you. Note that you shouldn't use it when your hair is wet.
