I went down the info rabbit hole of what happens with horns and hooves. Needless to say after reading about the combs made and the benefit of the keratin released by using them, I purchased this comb. I have to say I WILL NEVER use another brush or comb in my long lower back length hair again! I LOVE THIS COMB! I no longer have a handful of hair breakage after brushing and the shine is amazing! I purchased this to replace an old friend of a comb that fell onto my wood floor and broke. My previous one was over 20 years old, and from Williamsburg, Virginia. I've lived in Gajapati, Odisha, India - where they're known for hand carved buffalo horn combs and household items. I like my Indian comb, but it's more fine toothed. This new comb is indeed genuine buffalo horn. And it's been worked and crafted by a true artisan. The shape is very good, and the comb is sturdy while it is also very workable in my hands. The design grasps well in my palm. I'm very pleased with this purchase. One never knows what they're getting, but this is a good comb. I use this for detangling.

This is crafted with care! Just beautiful. I purchased this comb due to the antistatic ability, but not so much. It did come in a nice material bag, but I think the bag should be a little larger. The bag was nice for presentation, but I don't use it due to the size. This comb is beautiful and well made, so I am glad I made the purchase.

This is a really top notch comb. Within the first use, I could immediately tell the difference between wood and horn. No tugging at all. I have a lot of facial hair, and have dealt with plastic, metal, stone, and wood combs. All of those tugged hairs, and made me lose progress with grooming. Horn is a superior material. There is no tugging, and it helps unknot the hairs if you're gentle enough. It helps spread oil and salve a lot better than any of the other materials I have encountered. I will recommend horn from now on for people's grooming needs!

I love this comb! It glides smoothly through my hair without pulling or snagging. I loved the first one so much I bought a second one. The only drawbacks are the fragility. I am not worried about daily use, but I am not sure all the teeth would survive a drop on a tile floor. And it does have an odor when first taken from the package. I just left the first one out in the open to air oit and the odor dissipated completely in about a week. The second one i rubbed with lavender oil and that killed the smell immediately.
