Cheap and poor quality
I have two puppies that chew everything, hence needing new slow feeder bowls. As soon as I took them out of the package, they felt much lighter than the ones I had already. They lasted less than 24 hours.

Help, my puppy is a gobble monster!
This arrived promptly, it feels very sturdy and as though it's made of good quality plastic. The grooves are deep and the bowl is curved which makes it easier for their tongues to reach the food unlike other slow feeders. The grooves are wide enough for easy cleaning with a sponge. This has slowed my apparently "starving" puppy right down to a speed I would deem acceptable and stops her pandering after our other dogs dinner after she has demolished her own! I also personally believe it's a bit more of a challenge and is more stimulating for her.(She isn't starving to any degree, she's just very eager to inhale her food!)I read many reviews which stated that their dogs have tipped this over and doesn't work for them, it is light enough for my puppy to tip over, however the bowl is not so inaccessible that she feels she needs to tip it over, she gets enough food out at a time to not be frustrated.* The picture shows approximately 75g of Harringtons puppy food for reference on how much food can fit it the bowl. The bowl is just below half full, bearing in mind puppy pellets are small and the portion is obviously for a (medium sized dog) puppy.

Great slow feeder, slowed our dog right down
We have a 12 month old Lab, he's a food machine, gulps his food in seconds. We try to find a range of "enrichment" and slow feeders to keep him occupied and make him eat slower.Saw this one and grabbed it it seemed like it was well made, he's ripped a few interactive feeders to pieces. He's a big lab, at 35kg despite being in lean condition. So a lot of power to destroy things.Initial impression was that the plastic sealed bag over it was unnecessary for the product and a bit of extra plastic to go in the bin, which we don't really need. We were worried if it was big enough to take his food serving. He's on a high quality diet of Eden Dog Food, and as it turned out, this bowl was about the right size for his portion of the smallish kibble we feed.Took him a little while to get it all out of the bowl, which seems to be pretty solid and nothing on it or about the way he feeds from it means he's likely to feel the need to destroy. No moving parts or stuff to rip off it! Always a bonus!A little fiddly to clean some of the nooks on it. But we're thinking we may put some peanut butter or something in to make it a licking treat, see how he gets on with that.

A good way to save our dog from gulping his food
Zellar Dog Bowl Slow Feeder - Slow Feed + Interactive + Bloat Stop + Anti Gulp Blue Dog Bowls Fit Small Medium Dogs and Cats Zellar Dog Bowl Slow FeederThis food bowl is quite sturdy having been made from fairly thick high impact food safe plastic, it does look as if it will take a fair bit of abuse. It will only be suitable for a small to medium/small sized dog as it measures just under eight inches wide (21.8cm), it will take two cupfuls of food. The design of the dish allows for some of the food to be hard to get at which makes the dog have to work at it rather than just gulping it down. On the base of the food bowl are five small silicon feet, but to be honest these will only last a short while as they pull out quite easily, they are not essential so I'm not to bothered about this. The plastic is quite shiny so any dried food should fall away with a good soaking in soapy water, this is a good thing as it can be quite fiddly trying to clean into those small corners. The bowl is also dish washer safe (top rack). In use I found it slows down my dog at meal times, instead of gulping the lot down in a couple of minutes, he now has to work at it over time. Hopefully saving him some indigestion problems. The downside of this is that he pushes the dish all over the place while trying to get into the corners so if the dish is in the house the noise from this could be an annoyance, no such issues for us as we feed our pet in our porch. This is quite a novel idea which does help extend our dogs mealtime. If you wish to slow down your dogs meal times and prevent him from gulping his food then I recommended this.If you have found my review helpful, please click 'Helpful' below, thank you. Even for short nosed dogs!
Really happy with this one as it has proven to be a lifesaver for us - she was quite often sick due to eating too fast all the time now this takes her a solid 10 minutes to finish a meal.Knew French bulldogs did not get on well with most slow feeders but this works great, it's not too deep for them so worked out brilliantly.Easy to clean, doesn't move much on the floor, will pay for itself in saved cleaning up duties.

Great Feeder To Slow Down Greedy Fast Eaters!
I got this for my dog who eats his food in about ten seconds - now it lasts more around 6-8 mins, which is a good and much better for his stomach. Fast eating can cause wind pains, bloating and windy-pops!I found the pads on underneath weren’t non-slip on our floor tiles, so I tried putting it inside his usual food bowl and it fit a treat! He can still move the bowl around a bit- he’s a big dog 🐶, however, it does stop him picking up the feeder and running off with it- to chew.It is sturdy and easy to clean because my dog Kingsley cleans it up pretty well himself first lol - just soak / wash in hot soapy water to thoroughly clean.Holds a normal sized can of food and plenty of crunchies which I hide at the bottom of the feeder in all the nooks and crannies of this cleverly designed bowl. Can highly recommend for medium to large dogs who eat too fast!Added a short video to show this in action...
