Browning BR-137 Multiband NMO Antenna

I was excited to purchase and receive this product only to be disappointed with its usage. It is described as BR-137 Browning Multiband NMO antenna 136-174 MHz 3 dBi Gain 380-520 MHz 6 dBi Gain 698-960 MHz 6 dBi Gain. I received nothing on 2m and 470-490 on 70m and nothing on 698-960 MHz. I do know if this antenna was check before it was shipped out to me but it does not work. Plus I was extremely disappointed that I paid over $50 for something that did not work for me.

I was a little skeptical on purchasing this little antenna, but needed to use the MURS frequency. Honestly, this thing is just as good as my Larsen 2/70B, if not better. Solid construction, tx/rx distance is great!!73's...

I had a problem with the recieve on the antenna and I contacted the seller. He shipped me a new one right away and called to make sure it worked. I highly recommend buying from this seller.

This is the best tri-band antenna I found in a long time. It's very heavy duty and requires a 5-inch nmo Mount because of the weight from the coils for 800 megahertz. Also this is a very high gain receiver antenna for scanners.

Why spend a fortune on the Motorola version of this antenna? Using it across VHF/UHF & 700/800 bands and works perfectly.

Im way too picky when it comes to my radios, and I needed a 700 meg/VHF for an external antenna on my Viking handheld, this thing works just as good or better than my Larson base load VHF antenna, and gives me 2 more bars of digital signal on 700 in most cases verses the factory rubber ducky antenna. Its a must have if you live in a rural place like me.

Installed this antenna into a magnet mount on my truck, works great with my scanner on VHF and 800mhz P25 Systems and pulls in far signals.

this antenna works great to use with a scanner
