These disposable palm leaf plates are a stylish upgrade to paper plates. I have purchased several sizes over the past few years, but just got these 6" dessert plates for the first time. They're perfect! They're sturdy and work well for even heavy food items. They are good for one-time use only unless you're storing dry goods on them, but they're compostable. My package was dropped en-route to me, and the top plate broke on the corner, but otherwise the plates are fine. Not enough to complain about, but a note that they are a bit more brittle than paper if they're dropped on end.I included the first picture to demonstrate the size/thickness. The comparison is this pack of 50 along side a traditional paper plate pack of 100. They are a lot bulkier to store, but totally worth it!

I needed these for a tasting menu and they worked great. I used 80 of them. They were uniformly made, sat flat on the table, held the amount of food needed, and didn't absorb any moisture the way paper plates do. I liked the variation in appearance and they look great with a "rustic" table setting. I did not experience any mold issues that others have cited. I didn't wash them for reuse so I don't know how that would work.I have purchased another brand of round bamboo plates in the past and they did not sit flat on the table and were very wonky.I will purchase these again.

These were a big hit at my book signing. I referred many people to amazon to purchase. Even little kids were saying how awesome these little appetizer plates are. I will definitely buy again and refer to clients for the parties I organize.

This is an ideal size for snacks and for cocktail parties.

I like the eco-friendly material and the size for light bites.

I feel really disappointed. I spent about an hour looking for tiny palm leaf plates for serving mini-sandwiches at an event. I was so grateful to find these, as all of the other similarly sized items I found were bowls. I wanted flat plates so the sandwiches would sit on the plate nicely. These are square bowls. They are quite a bit deeper than the plates that are pictured. The flat bottom part is only about 1-inch square, far too small for the sandwiches. The event is in three days, so I have no time to return and replace them.The quality is great and they are very cute. I love that they are compostable, and we will even wash, dry in the sun and re-use. But they aren't what I wanted or ordered. Very sad!

Love the rusticity of the bamboo, as well as being very sturdy. Because of the materials in the plates, I have no reservations about disposing them in the trash. There are some that look like they may have mildew in them. I just order more than I need and throw out any that look a little dodgy. We’re using them in a few weeks for my daughter’s outdoor wedding. They fit the theme.
