I first bought a single bar of this great Submission soap product and was sold on it after using it! It helped with some tough skin problems, acne, rosacea, where other soaps failed! Never irritated my skin either like some other soaps with strange ingredients and chemicals can. The more homeopathic natural ingredients are really all excellent being mostly essential oils; with olive oil also being one of the ingredients. Leaves skin feeling very clean, refreshed, and more germ free! I also found it does not leave my skin dry or oily, even with frequent use. It does exactly what a good soap should do imo. I like the great tea tree scent too. I find everything about this soap to be really excellent. It may not last quite as long as some bars but that is because of the nature of its very effective ingredients. I rather have a great bar of soap that cleans, disinfects, refreshes, smells great, and helps skin problems without leaving residues or drying your skin out than a bar that lasts much longer but cannot do what this great soap does. I get very satisfactory use out of a bar. Others may feel it should last longer but that would counter its effectiveness so it should just stay exactly as it is (it is not broke so dont fix it). This soap’s exceptional formulation quality and effectiveness is really what matters most! It is my “go to” soap now and is an exceptional product so I now purchase this soap regularly as the 5pack. This is my honest unsolicited review with no incentives whatsoever given by the manufacturer or seller. I never partake in that sort of thing nor do I put any stock in solicited reviews. Full disclosure, I am a morbidly obese, diabetic man who suffers from painful chronic yeast skin infections. I was desperate for relief and, so far, everything I've tried has failed. No matter how many times a day I showered, nothing helped. I tried all the creams specifically designed to fight yeast infections and it was just money down the drain. Powders were equally worthless and some even made it worse. I researched and saw multiple articles saying that washing frequently with a tea tree soap can provide relief. So I went on Amazon, did a search, and chose this brand based solely on it it Average Customer Review. Folks, this soap is no joke. The moment I took it our of the package I could tell by the fragrance this was some strong stuff. The tea tree and peppermint scent is almost overpowering BUT DON'T LET THAT TURN YOU OFF. The scent left on your skin after showering is mild and almost undetectable. From the moment I first showered with it, I could tell the difference between this and my normal soap. Afterwards my skin felt amazing, not dry or tight, and I also noticed a slight decrease in the itching and burning that comes with yeast infections. The more I've used it, the better my skin has become AND the more relief I am experiencing! Within a few of days of using it every day, my skin feels GREAT and the itching and burning is GONE. Yes, this soap may be a bit pricier than I am used to paying for soap but the relief I have gotten from it makes it well worth every penny I paid for it.

I love this soap. It goes quick because it's quality soap. Olive oil is the first ingredient on the label. The tree is there and it's strong. The eucalyptus leaves your skin feeling fresh. Please don't change this product it's awesome. ***Back story, I have a skin condition that causes me to be prone to abscesses all over, scalp, pits, nether regions. Anyway, I've had this skin condition for 10+ years; if you want to see the gnarly I used to deal with google images of hidradenitis suppurativa. I got Accutane and had to be on it way longer than recommended, like 5 years and it took care of most of the problem. I still get some if I'm not careful but not like i used to. Well I travel 90% for work and after sleeping in hotels sometimes I get them, like who knew hotels weren't the cleanest (total sarcasm). If I use this stuff while I'm traveling it stops any issues. This soap is gentle enough to use everyday, although I try to use it sparingly because of estradiols in tea tree oil and their effects on hair growth (I have a beard), and has a strong enough antimicrobial effects that I'm not getting athletes foot from hotel showers or abscesses from the sheets. This stuff is awesome! For anyone thinking I stay in dirty places, the worst I accept is courtyard. I try to stay in well established brand or luxury hotels. No motel hotel 8. These places shouldn't be inherently dirty but my skin is very sensitive to it because of a misfolded keratin in the hair folicile that doesn't seal the area up correctly. Even typically benign bacteria gives me problems. This stuff is awesome. Bottom line after all that TMI, buy this to prevent nasties on your skin. It works. To the creators, I also use sulphur on my skin as a natural exfoliating agent in another soap bar. If in the future you came out with a tea tree sulphur or tea tree salicylic or even a three way combo I would buy the soap in buckets, buy stock in your company if publicly traded, and rave like this on every review site I could find. That is all. Thank you for producing this soap. You're the best thing that's happened to me in a while.

I'll start off by saying that overall I like the soap. There are some things I don't like about it. The positives. The scent is very fresh and I get out of the shower feeling extremely clean. The soap also lathers very well. I originally began using Defense Soap about a year ago...with no complaints. I started buying it from Amazon a few months ago. I actually stumbled upon Gold BJJ when I was about to buy some more Defense Soap. I started using antifungal soaps in the first place, because regular, store-bought soaps just didn't get me clean. I lift weights and and an avid cyclist. After a workout or long hours on the bike, I admittedly smell pretty bad. I needed something to not only clean me up, but keep me fresh throughout the day. This leads me to one of my two minor gripes with Gold BJJ. While it does lather good and rinse clean...it doesn't leave me as fresh through the day. It could be me just my body chemistry, but that is what I've noticed after using 2 full bars. The other thing is that it doesn't last as long as the Defense bar. I got a solid two weeks out of the first bar...same with the second and my shower habits are pretty much 2 showers a day, 7 days a week...maybe a third in the summer when I'm on the bike a lot. Again, I like the soap and the only reason I'd not buy it again are for the ones I stated, plus it's $1 more per bar, than Defense.

Absolute game changer for Jiu Jitsu! If you train BJJ, you know the struggle of trying to stay clean and avoid the 'mat funk.' I’ve been using this Submission Tea Tree Oil soap, and it’s incredible. It does a fantastic job of keeping bacteria at a minimum and most importantly keeping the fungus that usually comes with this kind of training at bay. It leaves you feeling actually clean without drying out your skin. If you're on the mats regularly, this belongs in your gym bag!

I got this for my husband. Due to the heat of summer, full coveralls for work, as well as strenuous work. He was breaking out. After reviewing the possible causes and solutions, I decided that this soap was worth a try. The price was reasonable, the ingredients listed were recommended to treat the issue. I am not overly fond of the smell of tea tree oil alone, but find that peppermint tempers it well. Plus the added advantage of my husband not smelling like a flower or candy of some kind. He noticed an improvement within the first couple days. The breakout is almost gone, nothing new since he started using the soap. His skin is hydrated, not the least bit dry, or oily. It smells "masculine", without smelling like a lumberyard. The scent doesn't overpower or overwhelm, it is there when he first gets out of the shower, but only when I am snuggling up to him. It is not in the least strong or unpleasant. I now use it as well, I would be interested in a stronger peppermint scent for my own use (I'm a sucker for mint). My skin doesn't dry out with this soap the way it does with many others. Nor does it leave any film or residue. I love it, even with the smell not being particular to what I normally prefer for myself.

I used to use a well-known name brand of jiu jitsu soap that has lots of fun scents, but switched to Gold's Submission Soap because it's just as good and having it on amazon is a must! Not having to spend a fortune bulking up on soap because of shipping fees and times is nice. Thank you for having a great product easily available! This stuff is a great on sensitive skin, feels refreshing, keeps the nasty mat germs at bay, and lathers well!

I must say right off the top that this soap is pretty pricey! On the other hand it’s worth the price. I guess I wish it was much bigger because I am a pretty big guy. I bought and tried this soap because I have a lot of allergies and skin issues and I wanted something that would give me an extra boost in the shower to combat anything that may have been causing me to itch like crazy. After my first use I noticed right away that my itching dropped drastically. Having tons of allergies it’s a process and this one of the things I added to that process. This is a great bar of soap and it’s worth a try. Very refreshing and it never left my skin feeling dry.
