Bar soap does not travel with me because I don't like to deal with grody soap containers and there is seldom space for them to be opened and laid out and rearranged. Body wash is just not soap to me. This is *real soap.* It is a thick gelatinous consistency that doesn't instantly dissolve if water splashes it. It lasts forever. I don't use the exfoliating mitt all the time; I usually use regular scrubby gloves and it is simple to get really clean and lathered up with a dab of this soap and a minimum of water if you have to conserve. The container takes a beating in the gym bag suitcase or shower tote and doesn't teeter around and fall when placed on uneven surfaces (indented soap shelves, hanging racks, etc) like a body wash would. It also does not trap pockets of water in the cap spilling out a slimy mess later like almost every other wash product including shampoo. I use it on my face when If forget face wash and it is a bit drying if not followed immediately with lotion but has never come close to causing breakouts or irritation like most bar soaps do for me. The scent is genuine, I grew up with citrus trees by my window and it is true orange blossom with a hint of unsmoky tar that does not linger, just smells very very clean.

This is completely different from African Black Soap. I thought it was the same. But this is a hydrating soap from black olives. Olive oil is great for our skin. It doesn't do all the same things as African Black Soap. But as a hydrating treatment, it's fabulous. One thing to remember, when exfoliating, use circles. Never rub in straight lines. You can hurt yourself.

Needs more viscosicty. Too stiff...needs to be reworked, otherwise decent quality for facial or other formulation

i like thefeel of this soap. its soft and mixes well with the scrubs that I also bought.

This and their Kesse mitt are the bomb. I use as directed once a week: nice long hot shower (10 min), soap up with about 1/2 tsp of soap. I turn water off and shave or just let it sit on skin for several min. Then I turn shower back on, rinse off, and use the kesse mitt in up and down or side to side movements to get dead skin off. CanNOT believe how much dead skin rolls off every time. My skin has never been smoother or healthier and the Argan oil I put on after while skin is moist soaks RIGHT in! My skin is silky smooth. I even use these on my face but I use much gentler touch while still getting dead skin off. My complexion is unbelievable now. Just try these!!! You will love them!

this soap leaves my skin looking and feeling like no other. make sure you get the exfoliating glove too! it really does work. zakia goes above and beyond to make sure that her customers are happy. when i received an old batch of moisturizer, she responded immediately, issued a refund, AND (if that wasn’t enough!) she wanted to make sure i got to experience the product for what it should be, so she shipped a free replacement. wonderful owner, wonderful products. nothing to lose in trying!
