Anyone tried this with the Kamado Joe Jr.?

Yes, mine was delivered yesterday and it does fit, not perfectly but it will work. One side is a little closer to the grill due to the three prong grill holder, it will sit nicely on the fire ring.

What do you repaint your Kamado with??

Hi, Glad to answer your question！ This grate of ours is not made of enamel coating or the like but made of cast iron. After each use and cleaning, it can be seasoned with oil, which can effectively avoid rust and can be used for a long time.

Product description photo indicates a grill grate lifter is included free (or discount) if ordered concurrently with grate but not reflected in cart?

It states its recommended to buy together. If you want the grate lifter you have to add it to your cart.
