Aker LeatherB08 Garrison Belt, 1-1/2" Width

I read the reviews before purchasing this belt and I understood that it was not a very thick belt but because the holster I intended to use on the belt worked best on thinner belts that was not a concern. I even went to the Aker website to insure that I bought the right size and ordered accordingly. However I found the belt shorter than I expected and measured my new belt which was supposed to be 38 inches and and found that the belt by Aker's own method of measuring is actually just shy of 36 inches not 38. I will probably keep the belt but I was quite surprised by the discrepancy because in the past Aker leather products have almost always proved to be of excellent fit and quality.

Good police academy belt ( Silver Buckle ) I would recommend for any person using a pancake holster or using it with belt keepers and a duty belt. runs a touch small

Im a 32 33 waist i bought 36" belt and still have three belt holes to grow into witch is great >>>i bought a 34" for 34" waist it was at the last hole but this belt was the box texture belt maybe consider the 36 for a 34 waist.

I am 6' 200, and wear 36" waist jeans (they are fairly loose on me). Right out of the bag, the 38" belt is a little snug in the middle hole. It will probably stretch a little, so it is perfect for me. There are 7 buckle holes spaced 1" apart. No stitching on the belt, just a strap of leather. The basket weave pattern is nice and sharp. The buckle is shiny chrome with a slightly better finish on the outside.Best of all, it says it is made in the U.S.A.!Just ordered a 1 3/4" version to go with it.

This is a proof that ANY belt can be used as a gun belt. This is the thinnest belt I have seen, PERIOD. Even thinner than those cotton belts :) Well, this is VERY overpriced belt for the quality and material. However, it keeps pants and guns up. So, 3 stars. Like I said, if this is a gun belt, ANY leather belt is a gun belt.

this was a gift to a person that carries. wanted to match the holster. this is a true to fit. he said that he liked the thickness of the belt but yet slid right through the holster loop. he really liked this.

Solid belt. Overall, it's a good buy. I have no issues with it, it is holding up pretty well to abuse. But, it is showing signs of wear a tear within a month of use.

I purchased a size 38 inch and i was very disappointed. the belt has 38 sizes stamp on it, and on the bag, it was shipped in also says 38-inch belt. But when I tried the belt on it doesn't fit me at all. my pants are size 36 and I have alway's used a 38 for a belt and that belt looks more like a 34 to me than a 38, and I compared it to the other duty belt that I have from an EMS store and its missing 4 inches to be a 38. Not only that but the gage of the leather used is very cheap to me, not like the ones I have alway's purchase before.

Ive been wearing this belt for a year, and it looks like its 10 years old. As others have mentioned it is thin leather it after a year its stretched in places and its starting to come apart on the inside. Its a decent belt, I do like it, but I wouldn't pay too much, because its not gonna hold up to every day or duty use.
