Higher quality preamplifier than most other Bluetooth Players
This is actually the third wireless record player I have purchased from Amazon over the past two years. As far as the obvious function of playing your vinyl records it also plays your stored music from mp3 players and your phone via wireless connection through this device or you can even transfer your records to a stored device. There are a few things that stand out with this record player. First, it looks beautiful. Its design is similar to the top dollar turntables from the 70's and 80's with the wood grain finish. Secondly the built-in preamp is exceptional. It can easily power the speakers I had previously connected to my older systems. Using the built-in speakers, it sounds average at best but when connected to high dollar speakers this player sounds awesome. I wish this option was stressed more in the description. A few years ago, you could buy a top-of-the-line preowned record player at this price but since playing vinyl records has become a fashion these prices have tripled of not more and to buy a brand-new record player is not an option for most. This is a great compromise when used properly. I have spent most evenings, since i purchased this, playing around with this. Connecting it to my current system, different speakers and trying out the wireless features most speak of. For me it is perfect, and I feel it was a great value. Now even more so with the price drop due to the holiday sales. This has been the best "budget" record player by far that I have purchased from Amazon.

Good value for the price, but don't expect a $6000 system.
Look, let's be honest. It's a mass produced turn table for under $200. So set your expectations accordingly. The sound al low volume is like it's played in a tin can. Up the volume half way and it sounds reasonably good. At 3/4, it's fine and fills the room but then after that, it gets poorly again. Read on...My livingroom is 20 x 20 open to a 20 x 30 dining kitchen area. It's ideal for that area.Music I listen to runs from Robert johnson, the Byrds, 60s folk, mono 50s rock, Sweet, BTO, Shari Ulrich...I'm all over the place and it's just fine. Now is it as good as my pioneer system I spent $5k on, no and I didn't expect it so I'm not disappointed. With headphones... pretty good.USB recording... Ill use it eventually.Pitch control? That'll be handy when the belt wears out, giving a couple more years of service.Only fault I have is the lid doesn't fix to the hinges so you'll need to glue that on.First player or if you want to dust off those LPs... you're good to go. If you're an album snoot, you didn't see this anyway.

Love the old sound
We’ve been wanting an old record player again and this is perfect. That old sound is back from when I was a kid!

This thing is awesome!
My son has been collecting vinyl's without a player for awhile since he seen a vinyl player at a friend's house, I got him this for his birthday and it quite exceeded our expectations! The clear acrylic cover is very heavy duty and not flimsy at all, when you power it on a little red light turns on like the old school ones! It's easy to set up and the build in speakers are good but not amazing it also has a feature to record your vinyl on an USB drive, nonetheless he has been using it non stop daily and is very happy with it. I have some old Bose Companion speakers that I'll connect this player to once I have a chance!
