Wirquin Neo Air 1.1/4" 32mm Basin Trap - Air Admittance Valve

I had to replace the waste on my bathroom sink, the new one was about 7mm shorter than before, so the telescopic function of this worked well. It screwed on nicely and sealed first time to the Mcalpine waste. I have to admit I am not entirely sure on the outlet fitting, it seems like the solvent weld 1 1/4 “ pipe has a bit of back and forth movement, yet it is completely weep free. As for the anti-syphon action, this is why I got it because I have gurgling in the system with a standard trap. It cuts that right down, but there is a faint purging of air, however it is nothing versus a full gurgle. Will update the review if it starts to weep, it should not be touched as it is well protected by the pedestal.

I was a bit sceptical about this item at first, due to the different connectors from those on more common waste traps, but I shouldn't have worried. The trap was easy to fit and there are no leaks. I would have given 5 stars but for the low frequency foghorn sound, as the air is drawn into the trap at the end, but it is not very loud and much more acceptable than the loud gurgling without it.

The product is excellent and much better quality than other similar products in the market.

They are very good, easy to couple up to sink and pipe work, with adjustment. Will buy them again .
