I needed a simple snoot for my camera's lights with Bowen mount, and this set fits perfectly. Initially I thought the color discs were missing but they are all inside the plastic ending. The material is sturdy and light. I definitely recommend this for creativity with studio lights. Very easy to use and attach.

It works at it should! I have been using it for macro photography. With this adapter my light only goes onto the subject. This means it doesn’t cause lens flares, nor does it light up the rest of the room, which would lead to ambient light reflecting back onto the subject. After a few hours shooting at 100% brightness on an LCD godox w600 it was hot to the touch but never too hot to handle. It slots into the mount just the way that it should. I haven’t had any issues with the material breaking or bending.

You're not going to be blown away by this product. It doesn't offer anything special. It isn't built like a tank and you pretty much get what you see. On the other hand, it seems well made, it is made from aluminum and for the money, brings the honeycomb screen and a few color gels that fit right in. You really cannot beat it for what you pay. It's one of those products that if you treat it well (like I try to treat all my stuff), it will last you a long time. For those that are rough-handed, good luck! All you need to do is sit on it or put a bunch of weight on it or treat it poorly and you'll be buying another one soon. If you do a bunch of on-location photography and carry heavy bags and move quickly, this is probably not for you. In this case, you might be better off spending a bunch of cash and getting something more solid.

For what it is and what it does given its limitations, it indeed does what it's supposed to do and that's modify your COB light to a certain extent. I don't personally use the color gels since my light is RGB but the grid performs as it should and focuses the light. I would say it's an intimate soft spotlight rather than a hard one since this snoot is not optical. Minus one star only because material makes it feel cheap.

Very good modifier for high drama lighting. A very good value and easy to use. Worked well on my various Bowens mount lights.

I've always wondered why there weren't any decently priced snoots. The choices were to buy a really expensive one or make your own with a Pringles container. This one fills that void and works perfectly. It is made with nice quality metal (and not heavy at all!) and includes a grid and diffusion/color gels. Only used a couple of times but really happy with the results so far. When I originally bought this item, it was sold by CONXTRUE, but fulfilled by Amazon. Well, I got the wrong one (regular speed light mount). After writing a review, I was contacted by them and I sent them photos of the product I received. They shipped me the correct mount one all the way from China. Very happy with their customer service and with the correct product. Also, Amazon took responsibility for my shopping experience since the product was fulfilled by them.

This it a decent little snoot for the money but wish grid was a bit better. You can visibly see the grid shadow on whatever you’re projecting on most of the time. It’s not bad if it’s on a background that is out of focus though. Maybe if my light source had a focus function it would better. Even with the grid issue, it’s still a useful item to have in your kit. The rest of the snoot seems like good quality and should last a while. All in all, I would still recommend.
