Don’t have to make your own ignition switched power lead
Works perfect and fitment is great. I tried a different (cheaper) brand before spending the extra on this harness and it just ended up being a waste of money. Not only does the cheaper harness not include a switched power source (due to GM’s wiring design) the connectors do not have a good fit. Way too tight and disconnecting then is a chore. This harness includes a module to provide accessory power just as the factory unit has (remains on until a door is opened or a set amount of time) and the connectors work just like the factory ones.

Easy Install and great price.
Very easy install for a 2012 Silverado w/o navigation system. Easy to understand connection via color code to the new radio harness. The only odd item was using the solid blue wire to the blue white wire for amp power. Just have to read first to ensure all wires are correct. Great price and easy install. Would suggest buying shrink tubes and sodier the wires vice twist connectors or crimp connectors

Stereo and stock sounds are working
The media could not be loaded. I tried a different harness that came with a dash kit and the blinker and door chimes disappeared because that kit did not have the data interface.This kit made the sounds come back. FYI, It does sound slightly different than stock.

This was exactly the harness I was looking for. The prices was right and easy too install. Just a few minutes and I had all the chimes back in my truck!
