Does the job
Plenty of brick cleaners on the market but this one certainly did a good job, it is effective at dissolving mortar stains, would recommend this product.

Total waste of money
I had some efflorescence on some brickwork following a roof leak. The Brick Acid Cleaner was supposed to clear this, but after three applications - all neat - over three days...can you see any significant improvement? I can't. I spoke to a builder who advised that brick acid fizzed years ago when applied, but you can't get the right stuff now due to 'elf and safety. He has advised trying neat bleach which I will try. As to this cleaner, it's useless for bricks. I might slosh it over the patio, but it's a waste of money overall.
