The camera I received was a Crosstour CT 8500 4K. The camera comes with 2 batteries and a remote control together with a huge selection of accessories that if purchased separately would easily cost more than the camera. The camera is very good quality and the user interface is easy to navigate.I purchased 2 of these cameras to mount on the front and rear of my bike and the video/audio quality is very good. The video stabilisation feature, anti shake, actually works, and works well. The cameras are individually connected to 5000 mAh power banks and provide 6 hours of continuous recordings at 1080p 30 frames per second with 64GB SD cards.Over the last 8 years I’ve purchased a number of action cameras and, for whatever reason, have always reverted to budget devices. The big brands may offer better quality footage but in reality there are some excellent cheaper cameras available for a fraction of the cost. Moreover if they get broken, lost or stolen then it’s not the end of the world.The only problem that I’ve found over the last couple of years is that lots of sellers of the cheaper cameras don’t name the brand of camera in their advertisements so you don’t know what you are getting until the package arrives. That said, the return process on Amazon is superb so it’s easy to return the device if it’s one of poor quality. From experience, some of the reviews regarding these cameras on Amazon are dubious and bear no resemblance to the product received. Be warned!For the price point of 37.00, May 2022, these cameras offer unbeatable value.Message to the sellers of budget action cameras.Please name the brand of your products! This will save time and money because if the camera is of poor quality buyers who are dissatisfied will simply return it for a full refund.

Camera seems OK at first glance, if a little flimsy. Easy to navigate menu system.However the video quality is very poor, just 4K of blurred completely out of focus video.Like many cameras it divides the video into smaller files, unfortunately it looses 30 seconds of footage between files, if that happens at a moment you wanted to capture then hard luck.An action camera that doesn’t perform as a camera and fails to capture action!I got this a cheap sacrificial action cam for those slightly risky camera angles, but it’s not even worth of sacrifice!Update - Neither Amazon nor the seller seem bothered by this. I can’t return it as I am away travelling so I dismantled it - there were several screws missing, including those that attach the lens to the sensor/PCB and hence the camera’s inability to focus with the lens free to move in the camera body whilst the sensor remains fixed! This is extremely poor manufacturing and non-existent quality control. Purchase at your own risk!

i bought APEMAN Action Cam 4K on 19th October 2022 and received it the following day.Photography:Supports: 1280 x 720p & 1920 x 1080p at ratio: 16:92048 x 1080 & 4096 x 2160 at ratio: 1.90:1imaging quality is rather nice especially if it's in a well lit up room. You can capture some very nice details in textures. Zooming can cause graining so that could ruin what you might be going for.Videography:I had indeed tested this outside via 720p / 1080p video quality is fine although sometimes it does have line glitching/ cracklings.At times when recording outside during daytime can seem to alienate the camera as the camera recording and playback comes back quite dark regardless of whether light source is in frame or not.i haven't tested in 2k or 4k formats because of the memory it requires.It does record up to 15 minutes at a time but will automatically record another 15 mins right after so you won't be missing much i think it does this to save you more memory.Color paletteVideo wise the color palette seems watered down and makes me look pale yet i'm golden i guess there's a few standard filters (even though i hate filters) but they do not seem to do justice at all.Picture wise taking pictures the color palette seems to excel the most although it doesn't seem natural it's easier to adjust the color on imaging software. Though not an issue for vigilantes, it will be an issue for the selfie generation.Sound:whilst it was in the case, the sound is hardly heardso better to record without the shell as the sound is better heard that way.....however you may have to hold it in your hand for that to happen i suppose. Noise cancellation does not exist as you will hear background noises sometimes override the foreground sound.Battery:doesn't really last very long as i only use it for 15/20 mins daily so i have to charge it up around every 40 mins.OBS Studio / External WebcamYe, i kid you not this is pretty decent to be used as a webcam as that's where i think this AC thrives from the most but make sure you have a well lit up room otherwise you will end up streaming looking like you're in a grunge basement. I have spent so much monies on webcams only to find nothing compares to this AC. Movement appears more natural, though again color palette seems far watered down but still better than my other webcams combined.NOTE:Make sure to take the battery and micro SD card out before connecting this AC to OBS studio or any other webcam social software as it can overheat with the battery still intact.Final verdict:It isn't bad but it's isn't the best, it is just above better than i anticipated for its price as it came with a lot more addons than i expected plus 2 batteries.So for the price i paid i was really taken back just how much better this AC worked with OBS studio compared to high end high priced ACs and WCs as the picture quality rigged to OBS studio is far better than them and the sound is fine not perfect but fine.4/5 a good piece of equipment at a bargain price which had indeed surprised me.

Very good quality for this money

1st off, the camera seems fine for the price, lots of accessories, seems like it would do a decent job for someone that isnt wanting to spend alot for just recording a weekend away or something, BUT if you want to connect your camera to an app to use it, DO NOT get this one, the app is a nightmare to set up.Edit. I have used this camera a few times now when I'm out on the motorbike, if you transfer the files from the camera onto a computer the quality is very good, if you try to play it directly from the camera on a computer it will be very poor quality and very jittery.
