Extremely effective against fever blisters

I took this and really liked it, but didn't want to spend the amount of money it cost. I switched to a cheaper brand and I am completely regretting it. This brand is much better quality and will be the only brand of red marine algae I use moving forward.

I had been taking Acyclovir, 4 pills a day for about 4 years. My pharmacy mailed me a warning to the effect that if I continued to take it longer, it could result in some side effects that they deemed important enough to alert me to. Since I would prefer non-drug treatment anyhow, I took their advice and searched for a replacement. After trying a few different algae products, Vibrant Health Gigartina worked to keep outbreaks at bay as well as Acyclovir had done. I take the same number of caps as I was taking of Acyclovir pills. Break-through lesions continue to appear if I don't get enough sleep, or am overly stressed, just as they did with Acyclovir. Presently, in an effort to eradicate the offending HSV2 virus I am taking North American Herb and Spice, Oreganol P73, 0.45-Ounce and North American Herb & Spice Oregamax, 90 Vegi-Caps along with regular maintenance of the Gigartina. My hope is that eventually I will no longer need the supplements.

Good BB date. I wish they still had the topical version, too.

Great product expensive but does the job for your health

This was recommended to me by a natural path doctor after I contracted west nile virus in 2007 and was extremely sick. My Regular PCP said there was nothing that could be done for West Nile and it had to run its course which could take upto 6 months. Using red marine algea and grape seed extract daily turned my health around within 5 days. I still take it daily and have never been sick since. It is a great immune system booster for me. I hope others who try it experience the same positive effect that I did.

Controls herpes outbreaks. I've been taking this brand for about 10 years. Every once in a while, I forget how important they are or try a different brand, and the sores come back with a vengeance! I didn't get any money, free products, or discounts for writing this. I don't even know the first thing about that whole business. I'm just a customer, impressed that a product actually works for once.

Awesome product! This is an incredible natural product for treating cold sores/fever blisters that works! I've used prescription products for years that eventually did not work. Gigartina is a God Send to me!
