I'm very pleased with my new Pyle karaoke machine. The sound quality of the speaker is great. The bluetooth works well and so it's simple to stream karaoke tracks to it from your phone or tablet. The wireless mic is convenient, no mess or tangles with wires, plus it allows you to plug in a 2nd wired microphone for duets, if you'd like. It's well-built and sturdy, but still light enough for portability. The rechargeable battery has a long life, and with the built in FM radio (a nice extra touch) if a power outage occurs, you've got a radio ready to go. The disco lights are fun, and they flash along with your voice. And it's great that you can record your performance of off this. It's a good product, and a very good buy for the price.

I purchased this speaker last summer to use at the small parish school where I am principal. We had went through a couple of big and fancy portable PA’s within 4 school years. Our buildings are old and outdated so we don’t have a built in PA system that reaches all of our rooms so we use it quite a bit and take it to different locations. The others were heavy and not easy to transport even with the pull-out handle and wheels. The wheels and frame of the others broke causing the speaker to not stand properly and vibrate when playing music or speaking into the microphone. I love that you can throw this over your shoulder with the included strap and keep your arms free to carry other things as well. The buttons are protected by the handle. All modes- Bluetooth, aux, usb, and sd- have worked great for us. I have had so many parents and visitors to our school ask for the name and model of our speaker. And the students love love love the flashing lights. To be completely honest- I did have to replace the microphone and the battery no longer holds a charge. You’re probably wondering why I still gave it 5 stars but I have a very good reason-those things were totally my fault. I forgot the microphone in our gym one day, and lots of other schools use our gym for basketball practice needless to say some kids got ahold of it and when I finally tracked it down it was broken beyond repair. I replaced it with a corded mic and have been very happy with it and it’s not as easy to forget. The battery was my fault as well. I had a family emergency that took me out of the school about a week before Christmas break. I was charging the speaker to use the next day but since I wasn’t there it’s wasnt used and stayed charging until I returned after Christmas break. I still gave it 5 stars because it hasn’t been a big deal to have to carry the charger- I just put it in the same bag with the mic- and if for some reason I ever need a battery powered PA where I won’t have access to an outlet I would order another one of these speakers. It is an amazing value for the price.

Was easy to get started, right out of the box. Just plugged in and turned on the speaker, put batteries in the wireless mic and turned it on, plugged in an extra wired mic I bought, toggled mode to bluetooth and quickly connected to my laptop, and we had a family karaoke party going in our living room! Sound was great. Bluetooth stuttered a few times, but then I moved the laptop closer, and no more issues. I think, as others have indicated, the wireless mic may have died after 5 songs or so our first night - I haven't tried another set of batteries yet, but they were brand new. It worked great to start, then stopped working. Lights are fun. Nice to be able to adjust the volume on the music and mic separately. We did not have either at full volume and could hear throughout the house. Bought it for my son's birthday party next month, so we'll see how it does outside. Also as others have noted, the handle obstructs some of the inputs. For example, so I should be able to plug in another mic, except I can't plug it in because the handle is in the way. Poor design in that regard. I will probably wind up buying a splitter and a second wired mic.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and I gotta say, it wasn't disappointing. The sound is far better than those machines that are for kids. The microphone isn't incredibly sensitive and in this case, it is a good thing. The Bluetooth connectivity is reliable as we haven't noticed any connectivity issues. I'm most impressed with the sound quality of the product.

The first time I received this was a week before Christmas 2016. The microphone did not work at all. My hubby went out right away, got one just to hold us over until the 2nd unit to replace this one showed up. The 2nd unit, the microphone did work but, it had a loud annoying buzzing noise. There was no way to fix this. Who wants to sing over buzzing? I don't. I did receive a full refund. But, disapointed since we wanted to do Karaoke for our Christmas party. Just don't buy. Get a real system from Guitar center or Best Buy. Not Amazon. Lots of these similar sets have complaints. I now believe them.
