Fancy Nancy books are fun and creative. From the illustrations to the writing, they are homerun books kids can enjoy. A clever way to teach words and language together! And I love Nancy’s fancy ongoing fashion ideas.😎

Such a cute book! Wonderful illustrations and a great way to introduce new vocabulary to children. The book arrived in perfect condition and you can’t beat the price for a hardback picture book.

A kid stable read

The first book in the series of Fancy Nancy and they wont disappoint! Nancy loves to be fancy, anything that she does she adds an extra touch of glamour to it. Except that her family is not fancy at all and doesn't know how to be fancy. So, Nancy teaches them how to be fancy and they all go out to dinner dressed their fanciest. After a small spill at dinner Nancy learns that you don't always have to be fancy all the time. This is a charming story and you can read it again and again. Nancy has so many fancy things on each and every page that every time we read it we see something that we haven't seen before. My little one loves this book and pulls it out frequently. This would be a great book for your little one.

The book is so cute exactly what I wanted. The only problem is the cover came with a tear in the bottom corner and this was a birthday gift for my 18 year old granddaughter. It was her favorite book. The book is a very nice size.

Fuchsia is a fancy way to say purple. Stupendous is fancy for great. Posh is a fancy word for fancy. Chauffeur is fancy for driver. Ice cream sundaes are parfaits. And all of this great vocabulary goes down smooth with a spoonful of fantastically detailed illustrations!!! Fancy Nancy’s family is not fancy at all. Which is relevant in my house because our 7-year-old daughter is the fancy daughter of parents who are not fancy at all. I think different families would feel differently about Nancy being so fancy... For us, this book just honors how our daughter came into the world, and she loves that Nancy’s parents are plain and she can still be herself. If you have a child who is extremely feminine in a household that isn’t, this may be the book for you!

Every little girl loves this story! My daughter asks to read this constantly and loves to dress up like Fancy Nancy. Such a fun book for little girls.

This book is a joyful ray of sunshine. Nancy has the most fancy room you've ever seen! She lives with her happy family who don't understand that lace socks do make her play better football and that everything sounds better in French! She is a delight. She invites her family to join a fancy class so she can teach them to be fancy. They accept and dress up for a visit to a restaurant, where Nancy collects all the parfaits (French for ice-cream sundae) on a tray. She trips and the tray does a double flip. She doesn't feel so fancy covered in ice-cream. Her wonderful family clean her up take her home and tell her they love her. It is soooooo feel good this book. Nancy discovers there really is no fancy way of saying I love you. On the educational side Nancy introduces the idea of different words meaning the same thing. There are some words of French included too. My daughters adore this book, it has even expanded their vocabulary to include stupendous. It is fun, bright and bears much repetition. I've pre-ordered the next book which comes out in March.
