Cello Novelty Big Plastic Shoe Rack With Lock - Brown, Standard

> Fit and Finish: Between this & Nilkamal, I chose Cello. Not that Nilkamal is bad (it is around Rs 500 cheaper), but Cello had slightly better finish and better colours. I checked out the Nilkamal storage cabinet, which is similar to the shoe cabinet (except for the shelves) and there were quite a few rough edges there.> Assembly: After watching the assembly videos on YouTube, I was able to assemble this in around 20 min. Please note that no assembly instructions were provided. The back and side panels have labels on them, that's all (no sequence numbers etc). But it is easy to assemble> Storage: As you would see from my pic, each row can accommodate 2 pairs of boys sneakers or 3 pairs of ladies footwear. It comes with 6 pair of rods which can be arranged horizontally or in an inclined way.> Durability: I hope this would last long. I purchased it because my shoe rack needs to be kept in the balcony, subjected to dust and rain. I have had a HomeCenter shoe cabinet made of particle board which was getting damaged due to rain water.> Features: Comes with a lock. Also has inner bolts at the top and bottom on one of the front door to lock from the inside. It also has vents on the side panels for some air circulation.

Best shoe rack under Rs.4000/- category. It can easily accomadate the shoes and sandals of a nuclear family easily. It has double latches in top and bottom. The lock facility with key isa added boon for family with small childrens. Air vents are provided in various places for better air ventilation. My 6 year old kid assembled it like a giant Lego blocks within 15 minutes.

Good product and the quality of the plastic is ok.I was expecting a better quality plastic but it is not that bad.The lenth and breadth are similar to a fridge.Easy to assemble and can store upto 21 pair of footwear. The shelf length is a little less and you can fit 3 pairs only by adjusting the 3rd pair.Overall not a bad deal but I believe it should be priced around 2500-3000 not more.

I purchased the Ivory Brown. This color is cheaper than the others (not sure about the reason though). It comes at 3799 and is priced close to its competitor. The other colors are 4k+.VFM: At around 4k it is rightly priced and value for money.Delivery and Assembly: It comes in a compact box with all the panels and the rods. There are videos both on internet and against the product here itself which should be followed promptly to assemble the panels. The panels are labelled so need to pay attention to those carefully.The one thing i didnt like is that once you join two panels, it is nearly impossible to remove them. Cello should make an easy option to unlock too, else we have to try some difficult ways like using screwdriver etc to separate the incorrect panels.Storage: Total of 6 rows with a bottom row (for shoe polish and brush etc). As many have mentioned, if casuals or flipflops or formal leather shoes then 3 pairs can be stored in a row. However adventure shoes or large shoes then only 2 pairs can be stored. I preferred this over the mini version which has 3-4 rows and is priced at 2800.It also has a lock and key to lock the cabinet. Thats a good feature.Material and Finish: The plastic is sturdy but dont place any heavy objects on the top of shelf. The top might give away (break). The finish is not that decent as the panels dont flush smooth but thats ok considering that it is for storing shoes. As it is plastic, it can be kept outdoors and is water and weather proof to an extent.Overall its a good buy just hoping Cello takes feedback about separating panels and a better finish job.
