The Silkland 8K Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable exceeded all my expectations. I paired it with my Alienware m16 R1 (featuring the i9-13900HX and RTX 4080), and it delivered flawless performance right out of the box. It truly is plug-and-play, making the setup process completely hassle-free. This cable supports incredible resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 144Hz, and 2K at 240Hz, and works flawlessly with my ASUS monitor at 180Hz (Max refresh rate). The picture quality is stunning—crystal-clear visuals with no lag or artifacts, even during intense gaming sessions or multitasking. It's perfect for both gaming and professional applications, delivering smooth, responsive performance every time. The build quality of the Silkland cable is also impressive. It feels sturdy, with high-quality materials that ensure durability and long-term reliability. The connectors fit snugly, and there’s no signal loss or flickering.

Great quality, picture shows perfectly how I need it to on my external monitor, allows my laptop to connect to the external monitor using the nvidia gpu instead of Intel and can output the 1440p 240hz speed i was needing. Also allowed the use of GSYNC which is great! Even at low frame rates it’s a fast and smooth picture. Super easy to plug in and works perfectly. 10/10 great purchase and solid company.

Plug n play. Never used my mini display port on my 4 year old laptop before until I bought this cable to use with PSVR2 on my pc. It does the job and have no issues. Quality of cable is great; not flimsy at all...has some heft to it and feels like it will last for years to come. 6ft is abit too much for my needs but it is what it is.

I used this with a GPU that most people haven’t heard of—the Sparkle Intel Arc A310 ECO. I needed a cable to test its performance while playing VRChat on PC, and I can say the GPU delivered surprisingly solid results. The cable worked flawlessly with no issues, and overall, it was worth the money.

Gerade bei älteren MacBooks, manchen Notebooks, Workstations oder Grafikkarten mit Mini-DP-Ausgang ist so ein Kabel deutlich angenehmer als eine Kombination aus Adapter und zusätzlichem DisplayPort-Kabel. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig. Das Kabel fühlt sich stabil an, die Stecker sitzen sauber und machen keinen wackeligen Eindruck. Gerade bei Monitorverbindungen ist das wichtig, weil schlechte Kabel schnell zu Flackern, Bildaussetzern oder Erkennungsproblemen führen können. Hier wirkt alles ordentlich und zuverlässig. Positiv ist vor allem die Unterstützung von DisplayPort 1.4. Damit ist das Kabel nicht nur für einfache Full-HD-Anwendungen geeignet, sondern auch für deutlich anspruchsvollere Setups mit hoher Auflösung und hoher Bildwiederholrate. 8K bei 60 Hz oder 4K bei 144 Hz sind natürlich Werte, die auch vom angeschlossenen Gerät und Monitor unterstützt werden müssen, aber das Kabel bietet dafür die passende Grundlage. Im Alltag ist die Nutzung angenehm unkompliziert: einstecken, Monitor verbinden, fertig. Man braucht keinen zusätzlichen Adapter, wodurch die Verbindung sauberer und stabiler wirkt. Auch am Schreibtisch ist das besser, weil weniger Übergänge und weniger unnötiges Kabelchaos entstehen. Für Büro, Bildbearbeitung, Gaming, ältere Mac-Setups oder generell Geräte mit Mini DisplayPort ist das Kabel sehr sinnvoll. Es macht genau das, was es soll, und wirkt dabei deutlich solider als viele einfache Billigkabel. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Das Silkland Mini-DP-auf-DP-Kabel ist sauber verarbeitet, leistungsfähig und eine sehr gute Wahl, wenn man moderne Monitore zuverlässig über Mini DisplayPort anschließen möchte.
