Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for 56 and 57 (1 Black 1 Color 2 Pack)

Ink is very costly. It goes fast. I was delighted, but skeptical, when I ordered this. The price was so low. I figured the quality wouldn't be that great. But, my needs are simple and mostly text. Imagine my surprise when I found the cartridges professionally packed and clean, smart looking and the quality well above-average! The black is especially good. If you do lots of graphics, photos, etc, you might not be satisfied with the color. For my purposes, it's fine. I mostly print off articles and sales copy I write for clients and most of what I print simply gets filed. So, for me, this is an absolutely incredible buy and if your needs are similar to mine, I highly recommend this product.Disclaimer: I've only used one cartridge of each as I write this. But if they're all as good, I'll order more. I ordered three packages. So, I'll soon know if they're consistently good and will try to update this. But these are the best refill cartridges I've ever purchased and, in many ways, superior to the original HP.UPDATE: I've now used a number of these and find them of constant high quality and highly recommend them to you.- Susanna K. First of March, 2014 - this is pretty much a black & white issue (no pun intended). They either work in your printer or they don't. I have a very old HP printer and they worked fine for me. I read all the other reviews and took it as a leap of faith. If they hadn't worked, I was looking at having to purchase a new printer. So, I'm a happy camperMay 1st - out of ink already, probably printed no more than 20 sheets. ouch!

Thought I'd take my chances on a set. First pair delivered you could tell the color ink leaked in the sealed package, the white piece of paper included in the sealed pack was blueish and wet. Tried the pair in my printer anyway, no errors, but looked like black and yellow were only working colors. Requested replacement which were received and tried. First thing I noticed when removed from package, was color cartridge had physical damage to connector plate. Tried them both anyway... error on printer.. Tried combinations of the original pair and this pair, could not find a working combo between them.Went and picked up a geunine set of HP cartridges locally and they worked perfect the first time. These remans are junk and not worth the time.

I have an HP 1315 printer/scanner and the printer would not accept either cartridge and would error. I shifted back and forth with my old cartridges and the printer would not error with the old cartridges but would error with the new ones. I have no options to get around the error as they claim. The manufacture states the cartridges are fully compatible, NOT TRUE. And I purchased two packs of two. None worked.

I purchased the remanufactured ink cartridges back in November of last year, and just changed the color cartridge, as my present one was running dry. Unfortunately, I didn't realize before purchase that these do not respond in my HP 1350 printer like a genuine one does, and so the "check ink cartridge" light always goes on. The instructions say to just ignore it, but there is a problem with that. I tried printing a color photo, but the bottomfourth of the image faded out- like the cartridge was dry, out of ink. Because of the issue explained above, the printer would not go into a cleaning cycle for the printer heads, so I was forced to purchase another cartridge- this time a genuine one from Staples. I haven't yet contacted the seller through Amazon, as they specify a 1 year warranty, but will do so soon, and update this review if they refund my purchase.

I'm cheap. I HATE that ink costs so much. So I've always used refurbished cartridges.These work well, most of the time. I will say that because they are refurbished (it's just the nature of the refurbished cartridge) you will get an occasional dud. Although annoying, it's just part of the process. I emailed the company and they sent me out replacements.Since these are 1/3 the cost of new cartridges, I was ok with the bit of hassle.

In the past I have not had good luck with remanufactured ink cartridges but I thought I would try these before just buying a new printer as HP cartridges cost about the same as a new printer. They work just fine. Now the test will be to see if they last as long as HP cartridges. If they don't I'll update my review.

My printer would not accept the color cartridge. All I did was remove it, breathe on the contacts and clean with my t-shirt, like I do my glasses. I noticed that the contact did not look the same as my old cartridge, but after I cleaned it a couple of times, I noticed that it was looking more like the one on the old cartridge. This is the large, contact piece - not all the little dots. Anyway, I cleaned one last time, pressing just a little bit harder as I wiped it, and POOF, it looked just like the old one. I put it in and it worked! Just printed a colored font test page and it's perfect!

After few print, it stopped working. Printer giving 'Cartridge error". When I put original cartridge, printer works fine.
