VIVOSUN 2PCS 4 x 2 in Large Air Stone for Aquarium, Air Pump

I am using this air stone in my pond, and wow is it big! This disk took the place to two smaller stones and is a wonderful bubble factory, turning the water over and over. I notice that some of my pond fish swim through the bubbles. It must feel good to them. It's been in the pond for over a month now and it doing great keeping the pond well aerated, which is exactly what I wanted. Nice quality and base.

They are great bubblers; perfect size for my 6ft tank. Very durable and quiet... But you can find these significantly more affordable in your local pet store.

These are tough airstones. I am amazed that they still work at all after the beating they took in shipping. Bashed so hard, they were knocked free of the factory cardboard packaging. Some chips were knocked loose. Amazon put these heavy, brittle stones in an oversized, non-padded plain manila envelope. That's no way to treat airstones. Isn't Amazon supposed to be in the shipping business? Fail.

Love the airstone for my tank. I have 2 axolotls, in one tank. I purchased one of these for that. Wonderful power with airstone. Perfect for fish tanks. I will mention it does not come with hose or support for the bubbles to work, so you must have an air pump in order for this to work along with the hose it attaches to. I also have a 55 gallon tank with fish, and i have two air stones in that works perfectly fine and I love the scenery it added to my tank. I will purchase again.! Great quality. Very good price for the quality it is.

Used many airstones for my reservoirs this one is amazing the bubbles are so fine plants have more then enough oxygen in the water 10/10 make sure to soak stone for 1 hour to get the best oxygenation before using

I will say this thing is huge and it does add plenty of air HOWEVER it’s supposed to be all fine mist air and it seems the Quality of the seams aren’t great. As you can see in the picture, one side, around the edge must be cracked or something because giant bubbles come out of only that side where the plastic meets the stone. Even if you use the splitter to shut all air off, it will blow those big bubbles out of the broken area. I am disappointed in that but it does do the job. You can clearly see in the picture the side that’s cracked. It ruins the peacefulness of the fine mist.

It’s quiet enough to blend into the daily hum in our house. It fits the tank I use for my kitchen garden. As it will live its entire existence in the bottom of a blacked out glass aquarium, I doubt sturdiness or durability would ever come into the equation. Cleaning should be simple enough, but what I care about most is that it works and performs the one task I have it for, aeration of water. It does a great job of that.

3 of the 4 I bought worked beautifully; the fourth, I had to reseal - the air blew right out at the connection, instead of through the stone. Overall, these air stones are large, but not as effective as others I've had. I bought them to use in Koi pond moving bed bio-filters, and they will suit that purpose well.

this is a great item, i have no serious complaints. works gives bubbles and if you have a sufficiently powerful pump it will give great coverage (at least in a 12" bucket). I am a pretty big fan of VIVOSUN so i was expecting the usual good but not super great build quality that does the job at a reasonable price. You could find slightly cheaper, but I've had such good experiences with VIVOSUN support that id suggest the 2-3 extra bucks is worth the knowledge that you have people that seem to genuinely want to keep you as a customer. Update just great my pepper plant is loving life.

What a junk. It is releasing big bubbles. Lookss like it is broken somewhere inside and escaping air. Lost money on a rocket science description! Stay away from it and keep your money in your pocket! In the background you can see a small one doing the job just fine. It is either defective or just pure crap quality!
