Very well done Hornby. Brought scalextric right up to date. Had a really enjoyable Christmas because of this set. Since bought all the extension kits. Love it.

Good but not perfect
Two of the cars spoilers were broken off and required gluing back on

worked well but has quality problems so returned for a refund
poor quality for such a high spec item. Item arrived with one of the cars having two right hand mirrors fitted with one obviously facing forward not backwards, secondly there was a section of track, when installed and powered on caused a clear short circuit. there was a peg used to join the tracks imbedded in the bottom of the track slot, this hat heated to the degree where the plastic slot had slightly deformed due to the heat. I managed to remove the pin and the track section was able to be used. not sure how the quality control works at Hornby but obviously these issues were deemed as acceptable for a nearly £600 product..... set the track up, the App is very fiddley and not very intuitive with minimal instruction in the package. within 1 afternoon 2 of the 4 supplied cars had ceased working completely and were short circuiting the track. I checked the usual brushes and internal wiring non of which showed evidence of short circuit, as the motor was moving freely I suspect that the digital plug on both the cars were the issue. the track has been returned for a refund. This was my sons main Christmas present so to say his is disappointed is an understatement.

Lots of fun for my son and his friends , it’s quite pricey but worth the memories for the kids

Damaged car.
I don’t know why there was a sticker on the car. The left side mirror popped out once I took it out from the packing. I think it was repaired before selling.
