- 80mm 600mm Telescope for Adults & Beginners, AZ Mount Stargazing

It's been a while since I have this with me and I feel it is time to make a review about this product. Anyway, I gave 5 stars for this for the following: The assembly instructions are spot on, very easy so as the use of it. The size is excellent, it does not take a lot of space and storing it is not a big issue. The structure is very stable and field of view is excellent. I've used it in star gazing when the night sky is very clear and I've been taking it to the beach and some parks for bird watching. This is a portable telescope that does not bankrupt your wallet- very good for beginners in the star gazing department.

I bought the Telescope 80mm Aperture 600mm Astronomical Portable Refracting Telescope for my son, who is studying aerospace engineering, and it has been one of the best gifts I’ve ever given him. He was thrilled the moment he opened it! Overall, this telescope has been a wonderful purchase. Seeing my son light up while exploring the night sky is worth every penny. If you have a space-loving kid, teen, or even an engineering student like mine, this is an excellent choice!

Setting up the telescope can be a hassle at first, but if you have an area to leave it in place, it won't take long. The calibrating min-scope is fragile and one of the tightening screws on ours broke off before we were able to set it up. As a result, we can't correctly 'calibrate' the telescope, but using it during the day is not as bad. The viewfinder for the 25mm lens a bit on the smaller side, so sometimes you can see reflections of your eye or eyelashes, but if you focus on what you are trying to see it's not as distracting. Overall pretty good quality lenses and we've been able to see the moon a few times with pretty good quality.

This telescope is of very good quality and a bit heavy. It's quite easy to assemble — even a child can do it just by looking at the pictures. With this telescope, you can see distant objects very clearly. It is an 80mm aperture, 600mm focal length refractor telescope. It also comes with a carrying bag, making it easy to take outdoors.My Kid really love it.

Perfect Beginner Telescope – Great for Kids and Moon Viewing! I bought this telescope mainly for my kids, and it has exceeded expectations. Setup was quick and straightforward, which made it easy to get started the same night. The first thing we tried was looking at the moon, and the view was absolutely amazing – crisp, clear details of the craters that kept everyone fascinated. It’s lightweight and easy to adjust, which is perfect for children to handle on their own. My kids loved being able to find objects in the sky, and it really sparked their curiosity about space. The included lenses provided good magnification without being overwhelming for beginners.

Easy to assemble but lacks information on usage for a so-called "beginner" telescope. The main issue I have is that using a phone on this is practically impossible. That's where we wanted to capture the images. Without the phone, the quality is "ok" but still not quite as I expected. Almost constantly requires adjustments to spy on the moon. If you want to look at other space objects, focusing on or locating them is practically impossible. The phone's weight itself or the slightest movement will set the telescope out of focus. Even when it was focused on the moon, the images were just not good quality due to the camera being too far from the scope's eyepiece; or it would get cut off by the tiny holes on the plate (where the phone lens is looking through the phone holder). The plate holes are not big enough. There is only one hole in the phone holder, which is not helpful for phones with multiple camera lenses on the back (all new phones). Depending on the zoom on the phone, it would switch itself to another lens and then you have to readjust the phone to the tiny hole on the phone plate/holder. Moving the phone means the moon is no longer in site, and a readjustment is needed. That plus the telescope always needing adjusting is too much trouble for little to no reward.

Installation was very easy, it only took a few clicks, and the tripod is very stable. I've only been looking at the moon recently, so I'm not quite sure how to use it yet, and the photos aren't very good, only showing the outline. I'm still figuring it out. If used with a mobile phone, you can observe it together, which is great.

For those who looking for a good telescope,. Please go for ANOTHER choice... this is definitely not a good choice...very small size, it is not good for normal height adult, you will need to bend your back to use the scope....Right after open the package u can see it is cheap made, bad quality. Don't know where those good comment comes from, it is ver disappointed, waste money and waste my time to install then uninstall to put it back to return. Very poor focus, it is more like a toy for kids....For this high price, I think we have better options.

Product exactly as seller description, carrier service not so great, disappointing delay on birthday gift after paying an additional $80 for a speedy delivery which was almost a week late

Péssima qualidade. A lente e o comprimento não correspondiam à descrição no site. A Amazon informou que a devolução só seria aceita mediante o pagamento do frete, que custaria US$ 700. Agora estou com um produto que não funciona como anunciado. Não desperdice seu dinheiro com este produto.

I have to say that this telescope has been a big disappointment. The stand is incredibly shaky and not nearly stable enough to use the telescope accurately. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but the magnification is really poor and falls way short of the promotional pictures. I live in the Blue Mountains of Australia with really clear pollution free sky, and I can't get a really clear picture of anything other than a reasonable view of the moon. If I had my time over I would choose something else.
