Exactly what I was looking for
These are soft and comfortable. After a week in the hospital wearing mesh disposable panties, putting these on made me feel so much more human. The rise is high enough that they don’t bother my c-section incision and they’re a little wider in the gusset than most underwear so they hold a post-partum pad in place more securely and prevents leaks. The lace waistband is very soft and doesn’t bind at all, which is good for comfort and more flattering than a tighter band on a squishy post-part in belly. The style is not exactly drop-dead sexy but they have pretty detailing and are nice colors, and generally are a vast improvement on your standard granny panties. The only downside is that the fabric and lace are so soft that I don’t think they’ll last very long. The lace has already started to fray a bit after just a few weeks of wear (I bought the five pack, so I am wearing them only about once a week each) and the fabric, while very comfy, is so soft and thin I can’t imagine it will hold up in the long term. Fortunately, they don’t need to last forever, just for this healing period. In short, if you’re having or had a c-section, these panties are a nice little luxury to make the recovery more pleasant.

Perfect for c-section moms
I am scheduled for my second C-section due to complications with my first birth. So I was looking for underwear that are comfortable and will come above my new caesarean scar. Once you are back to wearing normal underwear after a c-section, you definitely want to keep underwear and pants from rubbing that area for at least 2-3 months or more. With my first delivery I loved the Motherhood underwear. They were cotton, comfortable and didn’t rub my scar. They no longer sell these underwear from Motherhood so with my surgery coming I was on the search for new underwear. I seen the reviews for these and decided to try them. I love Kindered Bravery nursing/ pumping bras and knew they were a good brand but didn’t know how these underwear would do. I was afraid they would be itchy and tight around the legs. These arrived quickly to my door. The material was very soft. They stay above my original scar without rolling down. They are not tight around the legs or itchy. These are perfect for my new journey to become a second time mom. I plan on ordering a second pack to have multiple pairs of underwear for the next few months while I recover.

Lovely, but not c-section friendly
These panties are buttery soft and very pretty. The material feels good on the skin, and the lace at the top is pretty. They have survived 1 wash, delicate on cold and dried on low heat, but I do wonder about the longevity of the material. I had to rate 4 out of 5 stars because the panties are described at "c-section friendly" but I do not agree. I am 3 weeks postpartum, having had a low transverse incision that is healing nicely. The lacy band rolls down so easily and ends up right on top of my incision, which is quite irritating. These will probably be great in a few more weeks, or another month, but for now they are not the best.

Great for c section
I was nervous to buy these because of other comments about the lace ripping immediately. That did not happen with me - I’ve been wearing and washing them for two months straight and they are still in great shape. Very soft, very comfortable material. Perfect for transitioning out of the disposable underwear because it makes you feel a little more human. Sits high and off c section incision. Maybe they won’t last forever but they’ll certainly get you through the fourth trimester. You’re doing great mama! Update: 6mo of wear and these underwear are holding strong.

Good for c section, not durable
I ordered 10 pairs about 3 months ago and wore them the last month and a half of my pregnancy. I had a c-section 5.5 weeks ago and wore these underwear exclusively until last week when I was able to start comfortably wearing my prepregnancy underwear. Pros: -they are super comfortable. They are very stretchy to accommodate changing bodies -the lace does not cord - the seams were very small/soft- something I was very concerned with due to my planned C section and concerns about a seam potentially rubbing my incision. - the underwear came far above my incision so there was no irritation - pads (any size) fit really well in these. Cons: - these are not very sturdy underwear. Most of them the seams and lace are starting to unravel or the lace is starting to separate from the fabric. Given the price point, I had expected these would have held up for a longer period of time. - I accidentally dried a couple of pairs in the dryer- and I try to exclusively hang dry my underwear. The pieces that were dried shrunk in the leg holes causing discomfort and slight cording. Beware not to place these in the dryer. - initially, the lace “rolled down” until my stomach had decreased in swelling. It was not a big deal due to where these underwear hit me in the first place but moms should be aware this could happen. - they are visible when wearing bottoms that hit you at the hips and panty lines are visible with thin pants/shorts. Final thoughts: these are great if you would like a comfortable pair on underwear for your fresh post partum period. But don’t expect them to last much longer than a few months- even if you are washing them according to the directions. Given these considerations, the price point is a bit steep on these. But they did work well and serve a purpose in the short term until I could comfortably wear my usual underwear. Generally, I would recommend these for postpartum if the person does not expect longevity/durability.

Love these!
These were perfect for my c-section recovery. They were comfortable to wear. They came up above my scar and would never ride down so they never caused me any pain. The color is true to the pictures. They felt really breathable. I still like wearing them even after my c section recovery and I even ordered a second pack. The black ones are also perfect for when you get your period because there’s lots of room for your pad to fit. I just love these.

Best comfy pregnancy panties ever
I debated on spending the money for maternity panties, I tried to make due with my pre pregnancy undies and let me tell you these are worth every cent. They were in my cart for weeks and I finally pulled the trigger and if I wasn’t already due in 4 days I would order another pack. They are unbelievably comfortable and don’t ride down which was a huge issue with other brands I tried. They also aren’t tight which I love and they are the perfect over the belly height for after my c section too. One suggestion I would make is to wash these in a garment bag if you own one (coincidentally I got one on Amazon for like $6 years ago lol) because the lace will get somewhat unraveled if you don’t which I guess isn’t a deal breaker but I’m cheap and want to preserve these for as long as I can haha. For size reference I am 38 weeks 4 days 184 lbs, and selected the xl which are perfect.

Disappointed
I purchased these for extra support after having an unexpected c-section. I wanted something not hideous looking but practical. I own two Kindred Bravely nursing bras, and since I was impressed with their quality and such, I figured that their undies would be the way to go. Initially, I loved these. They were exactly what I was seeking. I'm glad that I didn't write a review right away because my opinion has changed since that introduction to the product. My intial experience pros: - The high waste wasn't bothersome to my swollen abdomen, as was a concern of mine. - They didn't bother my healing incision in the least, also a concern. - They gave me incredible support, and if you've ever had a c-section, you know that extra support is of high value. - The material is very soft and comfortable. My experience cons: - After first wash both purple pairs if panties I received had little holes above the center lining. This was a huge disappointment. - The panties seem to be breaking down already. I've only had these for about a month now and I've noticed that the elasticity seems to already be breaking down, which defeats my purpose for purchasing these altogether. The fabric itself isn't as soft either and also seems to be breaking down. **Note: I washed these as directed and own a brand new washer and dryer.** - The high waste now rolls down after wearing them for 30 mins+. This is extremely bothersome because it rests on my incision, which defeats the purpose if owning these postpartum panties since they now rest where my typical underwear do. My experience conclusion: In less than a months time, all the pros to these undies disintegrated. The products purpose ended up being it's downfall, and through a short period of time, it's pros become it's cons. In my opinion, this product isn't not worth the price tag. I'm extremely disappointed that I have a set of undies that are essw totally useless and will be thrown away after only owning them for such a short time. I feel like the quality of these are comparable to any non-name-brand.company's postpartum undies. While they are superior when it comes to taking care of tatas, they need to improve the quality of their undies.

Gave my mom dignity and comfort through her cancer
My mom’s cancer caused her to accumulate fluid (ascites) which bloated her abdomen to the point of extreme discomfort. She was a tiny 5’ 100lb lady and all of a sudden her underwear was far too small at her waist. Then she had to get a permanent drain installed to help with her ascites and that was patched to her side exactly at her underwear line. Going through chemo, symptoms of stage IV metastasized cancer, worrying about pulling on a newly installed tube, etc AND having uncomfortable underwear, which by itself is THE WORST, was grinding her down. I found this brand on reddit threads after thinking to look for maternity wear. This was the softest, stretchiest, but also most easily cleaned underwear. I could see the immediate relief my mom had the moment she put them on. They were really gentle on her drain attachment, covering over it and protecting it even. They’re super functional and stretchy to accommodate different proportions. The lace is pretty, cut well designed, and colours lovely. All while being pretty sturdy. Tossing them in the wash in a laundry bag protected them enough through many wears and soiling. No holes or unraveling. They gave my mom her dignity and comfort back through the worst time of our lives. Now I, a pretty average sized 5’5” 125lb 29yo, can still wear them on comfy days and they fit me too. Thank you. - a grateful daughter

Super-comfortable even during pregnancy
I bought this product for postpartum. I haven’t delivered yet, but tried this after being fed up with the discomfort of my panties rolling down my bump. And this is super comfortable! It covers my bump till my navel, doesn’t roll down. I don’t feel like wearing my regular panties any longer! I do see some threads coming out from lace after few washes, but it doesn’t bother me much.

Comfort
This product is soft and snugged as expected. Probably the best post Partum undies I have now. While I'm still recovering from birth, my pads stays in place. Very comfortable and I highly recommend.

Panties are super soft and smooth on the skin ... perfect to wear after hernia surgery ...
High Waist Postpartum Underwear & C-Section Recovery Maternity Panties are super soft and smooth on the skin, even the lace. They fit one size smaller but they're so stretchy that they're not binding. The Panties don't ride up in the back. They're very attractive and feminine. I'm using them as normal everyday wear. Good value for the price. Addendum 2020: They were perfect after hernia surgery. The elastic around the leg openings shrunk a bit after three years. I'm ordering more.
