Great buy. My dogs would always push the back door and move all the food and water bowls. With this the door stays in place and it’s easy to use without having to find the door stopper and put it out.

Works good to hold a door open. Installs in a minute. If the door has more than an inch undercut, the pin won’t reach the floor.

Tried some of the others in this price range and they broke after a few months use. This one seems more suited for high traffic doors.

I mounted this door stop on the inside of the door so that from the outside only 2 bolt heads are showing on the outside. It is very sturdy and less likely to hurt the door by the way it works. It is incredibly easier to activate and deactivate with my foot. I recently discovered that I can operate it barefoot whereas I thought it safer with shoes on. Once again, I can't tell you how happy I am with this device instead of the one I intended to buy from you.

Mechanism did not work at all. Frozen in place and unable to release even hitting w mallet. Will return and order another in hopes it actually works. Quality of materials seemed good, but obviously no quality control.

Perfect, It will position the door better than a door stop. One kick to lock, one kick to release.

this door stop is real convenient for holding a door open in any position. it is easy to mount with the included hardware, and will accept other type of screws if you needed it to. we bought this to hold a door to a utility closet, so the finish wasn't necessarily a driving factor for the purchase, but it is pretty good. it isn't on par with Baldwin finishes, but it doesn't have the matching price tag! the function works ok, but it is hardly a smooth precision piece of hardware, but again the price reflected this. the mechanism is pretty simple and it has worked consistently for a couple of months now. if i had a complaint i would say the release is a touch small, but not a deal breaker. this is a good door stop with a good price and simple construction that wouldn't lead anyone to believe that it wouldn't last for quite some time.

Pour ma part je l'ai installer sur une porte en fer qui est dans une pièce qui a un tapis au sol (moquette) et ca ne fonctionne pas, sa glisse.. Utiliser le uniquement sur sol en béton.

This is not stainless steel, just buffed metal. And it does not work at all; the rubber has no grip as well. I regret this purchase.
