My Favorite Cereal!
I love this cereal! Occasionally it is on sale at the large chain grocer in town, but usually it is about $8.00. Buying it on amazon sometimes I can get a better price. Tastes very sweet (stevia). If it sits in milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk -- super low in calories), the milk gets a tasty berry flavor which is fun to drink after all the cereal is gone. The protein amount in 1 serving is very good, as compared with the calories. I am always looking for a ratio of 15 cal to 1 cal protein or less. This makes that ratio easily. And at 42 grams a serving, it feels like a full bowl. Only 1 gram fiber, alas. I do like the short ingredients list. I mean, none of this is found in nature, but at least I recognize the ingredients' words. I like a variety of breakfast foods, but I do find myself extra content on the days that I choose this cereal. Sometimes it will also serve as a snack food on the run -- throw some in a baggy and take with. It is still delicious without the milk -- very crunchy like chips, but sweet. ONLY downside to this product is that it is expensive. Worth it for the value (high protein, good taste). But if you eat more than 1 serving for a meal, you will find this product doesn't last long. The box claims 6 servings/box at 42 grams/serving. Premier Protein brand is killing it! I gravitate towards many of their offerings. This is my favorite,

So yummy!
It turns the milk in your bowl sweet & that’s always a plus since I eat this as a snack to curb my sweet tooth. Quite expensive but all “high protein” food variants are so, pick your poison. The calorie to protein ratio is quite good too, at 20g protein for 180 cals per serving it exceeds the 1g per 10 calorie standard! Only thing to note is it is VERY crunchy, with some cereal bits being quite hard. I personally like the crunch, but it’s not for everyone.

its okay
Premier Protein Mixed Berry Almond Cereal is an okay option with some noticeable drawbacks. The idea of combining protein with cereal is appealing, but the overall flavor falls a bit flat, with a mild berry taste that doesn’t stand out much. The texture is decent, with a crunchy bite, but it can become a bit dry without milk. The almond pieces add some variety, though they don’t significantly improve the overall experience. It’s reasonably filling due to the protein content, which is its strongest point. Overall, it’s an average cereal that’s functional and somewhat nutritious, but the taste and enjoyment are fairly underwhelming.

The best protein cereal out there
I tried both mixed berry and chocolate, I definitely prefer the chocolate one especially if I'm adding some unflavored whey protein too it. The mixed berry one is far less flavorful and also is more crunchy than the chocolate. Always use milk and allow the cereal to soak for a couple minutes unless you don't mind it super crunchy and hard. I wish it didn't have any added sugars but 4g is not bad. I do appreciate the use of stevia instead of sugar or sucralose. The almonds provide more nutrients too which is nice and a little extra flavor. It is also far cheaper than any other protein cereal too. I've been having this cereal for over a year now every single day for breakfast, I first chop a banana up in my bowl, add 1 cup of cereal, the around 10g of unflavored whey protein concentrate, then 1 cup of milk to make a 38g protein bowl of cereal to start the day. I do recommend the chocolate over mixed berry any day, unless you don't like chocolate...

Taste is good but don’t get much in the bag!
I was looking for different high protein alternatives for breakfast. This offers 20 grams of protein in one cup of cereal, which is great but you don’t get very much in the box for the price. I added a photo of how much is in the bag. Taste is good!

Nutritious, crunchy, delicious!
This is a great way to start the day! With an 8oz glass of 2% milk, you have 30g of protein to start your day. Use your favorite almond milk to reduce calories, and you're still getting 20g of protein. I add a handful of fresh strawberries to get a good strawberry flavor. Yum! It's crunchy, sweet, and I like the texture with the fresh strawberries. A good, quick meal choice.

Protein cereal that tastes good
I enjoy this cereal as a way to get my protein when I’m not feeling like eating meat. If you eat it with fair life milk, it adds even more protein. It is cheaper to buy on Amazon than it is at the store.

This cereal may not be for you
This cereal does not taste like corn flakes (which only has 2.1g of protein per serving) or Frosted Flakes (11g of sugar per serving). If that’s what you’re expecting, please don’t buy Premier Protein. This cereal has 20g of protein and 5g of sugar. The flakes are sturdier and more crunchy. It’s not stale, that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Again, if you prefer dainty flakes, please don’t buy Premier Protein. Pour it in a bowl, add a cup of milk, and now you’re looking at 28g of protein for breakfast. Perfect if you weight train, want to add muscle, or want to preserve what you have while dieting. Think of this cereal more as a protein shake replacement. I personally like the taste of both the Mixed Berry and the Chocolate varieties. I alternate between the two each month. Your children will probably not like this cereal. Your grandmother may not be able to chew it without letting it sit in the milk a little while (it does soften up a bit). But, if you’re looking for a cereal that will fill you up, support your body while you work (or work out), and tastes good. This is it. Stay strong. 💪
