Most satisfactory corkscrew of the dozens we've owned over the years. Thoughtfully engineered and (most important) robustly built. The balance and leverage are excellent and the screw, itself, is well machined for easy insertion and removal. Attractively designed for the hand and eye. Well worth the (modest) investment.

This is the third wine key I've purchased from HiCoup because I love this tool so much I'm know trying to collect all their handles. They are beautifully crafted as so easy to use. They are not overly bulky and have the exact tension in the double hinge to make pulling out the cork effortless and elegant. My guests have also complimented my latest purchase which is the jade handle.

I am very impressed with the HiCoup corkscrews that I received. I ordered one for the basement bar and one for the kitchen. Pricing was reasonable and they were delivered within the stated delivery time. The items are extremely solid with smooth and tight movements. They feel like they will be around for many many years. Overall a very high quality product that is highly recommended.

I like this corkscrew, my wife hates it. And she's the wine drinker, so . . . . When I do use it, I find the articulation gives it great leverage and makes it easy to get the cork out.

This is a beautiful and high performing corkscrew. It has a grooved stainless steel screw that retrieves even fragile corks without crumbling. The long foil cutter could be lethal, though, and will not be allowed in carry-on luggage by the airlines. The pull is engraved to resemble Damascus steel and is quite handsome and the jade handle makes it look priceless. I'm very pleased.

I love this wine key. Purchased one in December in the color Jade I believe and when it came in it felt like high quality. It has good weight, the knife is sharp, the worm is sturdy and works like a charm. The double hinge is also amazing. I could do it in one fluid motion. Doesn’t take much time to open a bottle of wine anymore! Yay!

This is an excellent corkscrew. It’s very solid, works great, and looks fantastic. We’ve been through a number of fancier corkscrews that are easy to use and work for a while but ultimately breakdown. This one I expect will last a long time.

What can I say? I love the hinged piece that allows you to open in two stages. That's the reason I bought it, after I saw my daughter's in action. The problem, which is a little hard to explain, is that the serrated blade which is used to cut the foil is impossible to use. It grabs the foil so hard that you can't just work your way around the bottle effortlessly. And not only is it difficult, but you end up with shavings of aluminum from the foil all over the place. So you have to carefully wipe the bottle after you've done that, and you have to clean up the area when you're done as well. I wonder if it's just a defect of the blade on mine item?
