Works great, leaves nothing behind basically ever. GOOPs exactly as expected, and smells great doing it.

My dad used to keep a can of the original GOOP in the garage, and I remember it being great. I think about it now again, but I never see the product locally so I just do without. I found this on Amazon, and thought I'd try it. It's fantastic. No matter what kind of grime, grease, lubricant, whatever - this takes it right off. This plus a fingernail brush is all you need. I even use a tiny dab to remove grease from the hat I wear while working. The only real downside is that it works SO WELL, removing ALL OIL AND GREASE - that it will leave your hands a little dry. Not a big deal for me personally, but a drop of moisturizer will probably take care of it if that bothers you.

This stuff doesn't have the "grit" feeling of the leading brands. But I quickly realized the grit is irrelevant. Must be a psychological thing. It seems it's all about whatever emulsifiers these companies use. I have a golf range and am constantly screwing around with a tractor, which is to say my lower arms and hands are often covered in grease. This stuff works just fine, despite my initial concerns. Certainly better than plain soap or dish detergent.

I have used many methods of cleaning my hands after doing mechanical work on my hobby cars. I also used Goop when I used my tools and hands to earn a living many years ago. this, Goop, is by far my favorite cleaner. dispense gel in my hand rub my hands together to thoroughly get to all messy parts of hands and arms. I then rinse with water and really clean. In a pinch I have also used it waterless and wiped clean with rags or paper towels. I don't write a lot of revues. If a product is really bad or really good I may revue it. If it is more or less adequate I don't revue. The exceptional products like this, Goop, deserve recognition.
