Does this also fix MX8 elite model?

1 order the drive for the MX8 elete. 2 take the unit to a pool supply store such as Leslie's for the correct unit. 3 look on Google for repair of your unit there are many sites that walk you through the process. 4 I have an MX8 but not an elite but the unit looks like the unit you described. My MX6 stays on back wheels and doesn’t move what can cause this?

If the hose is weighted try moving it further from the unit. Also the hose is too short and the head is pulling causing it to tilt back.

My mx6 stopped turning what part needs to be replaced?

It is probably your direction controls. When mine does that, I just replace both the side A and side B. They are pretty simple to replace.
