hey folks, can someone inform me if this KG-UV6D is that much "better" than the Baofeng UV-6B?

I've only seen the Baofeng a couple of times. It is smaller and fits the had nicely. I really like my Wouxun though. Have a Yeasu VX-6 but it sits on the self. The KG-UV6D is easier to use on a daily basis.

What comes in the box

Radio, battery, belt clip (attaches to battery), antenna. One charger with two prong cord (attached), one 12v car adapter that plugs into the charger. Quick start programming guide. I think that's it. Might come with programming software? Mine didn't have an earpiece/Mic

We need radios for intracommunication on a tree service crew.Would this product be a suitable for a crew of 4 in a very noisy environment? Thanks

Very noisy I'm going to say NO. Its a great radio but not for noisy

Regarding the dual watch feature---If both VFO frequencies are transmitting at the same time, do you actually hear both?
