Based off the reviews I assumed it wouldn’t be good quality, I am pleasantly surprised! It’s great quality and I recommend it fully!

These salt stones are very good, with the exception of one or two of them having internal cracks. They will eventually break, but I’ll replace them at that time. They were packaged very well (each stone wrapped in plastic and in its own small box, like a bar of soap). I’ve already sanded and seasoned the stones with jojoba oil, and I’ll be using them for the first time today at work (I’m a licensed massage therapist, and Himalayan salt stone massage is one I’d my services). To the people complaining about these stones disintegrating, please apply the filter of common sense here. These are SALT stones, and you cannot clean them with water, as you would with basalt hot stones. Salt stones need to be cleaned with a misting of Decon 30 and wiped dry. Also, to the people complaining about getting scratches and skin irritation from the stones, these stones have to be maintained (sanded/smoothed) regularly because they do microscopically degrade, even with proper usage. I did this immediately after unpacking them. These stones, with proper care, will last for years.

I bought it to take shower with. I realized that after getting it wet, it's not as smooth anymore and hard to use on your skin. I still found it he was to use it by covering it with a glove.
