Adore this couch!
I’ve owned this couch (white leather) for 3 months, and am very pleased with it. Function: It looks great in person and really makes my space look great. It’s comfy - the seat is well-padded. Additionally the leather isn’t ‘sticky’, so I can comfortably sit on it in shorts without my legs sticking. My friend slept on it (when it was unfolded) when she visited - and said it was comfy for sleeping. Assembly: Very smooth assembly. I was able to assemble it alone as a 110lb women even though they recommend two people assembly (keep in mind if you want to do this alone: you do have to be able to flip it over yourself and it’s a couch so it’s not light), but I was pretty pleased I was able to do it solo. Only part that got tricky is during the assembly, the couch’s backrest popped up so it’s in sitting up position. It took a little while but I realized you have to lean backrest forward in order to lean it back. One of the bags of beads that is supposed to keep it dry popped open, but all I had to do was vacuum it up. I was pretty pleased with how smooth assembly all was. Overall, considering its a sleeper couch, assembly was very simple. Overall, very pleased with couch. It looks gorgeous, it’s comfy, and it wasn’t expensive.

Four Out of Five Stars
This is great product with one simple flaw. First, here’s the good news. It was easy to assemble. The instructions were clear. It came with all of the hardware and even the tools needed to assemble the sofa. Once assembled, it has proven solid and comfortable. It looks great, too. Over time, I will see how it holds up. But it looks like it will hold up well. Second, here are the drawbacks. When the seat back is lowered to make a bed, it sits a little lower than the seat cushions. In addition, there isn’t any support under the seat back. As a result of the lowered position and lack of support under the lowered seat back, while lying on the bed, you tend to roll towards the set back portion. Once there, the entire piece of furniture tips over. But there was a simple fix. I bought a concrete block from the local hardware store for $1.30 and placed it behind the sofa. When I lower the seat back, it rests on the concrete block. It solves both problems. The bed platform is now level, and the block keeps the platform from tipping over.

Beautiful little sofa
Edit **** This sofa held up very well. It lasted about 4 years. Around the 3rd year the faux material began to wear off on the cushions, this was after everyday use. By the 4th year I tossed it because the material on the seat cusions were constantly flaking and peeling. Overall it lasted long enough considering the price I paid at the time in 2019. Love this sofa, shipping wise it took about a week to get to me. Box is very heavy will need 2 people especially if carrying upstairs to an apartment. Assembly wasn’t too bad took about an hour for me to assemble myself. Very pretty white color very stable sofa and comfortable to sit on and stretch out on. Cushioning is slightly firm but bouncy. Have not used it as a bed only a sofa. This sofa is perfect for me!

Very nice futon with fairly easy assembly. Also tips on how to put it together easier!
This is a very, very nice Futon Sofa. I've owned, sat, or slept on several, and this one is by far the best. I agree with some of the reviews stating the middle/joint can be hard to sit or sleep on, but I do not believe its something you should negatively rate or review for. It's definitely one of those "you knew the flaw of what you were buying, why review it poorly for that flaw" type of situation. Furthermore, its a sofa, who sits in the center of a two-seat sofa, or between cushions? On the note of comfort, I've sat on this sofa for a few hours at a time, and slept on it for at least a few weeks now. Keep in mind I have a queen-sized bed with a brand new, very comfortable mattress, but I very often opt to use this Futon. The features greatly outweigh the flaws, such as the 3 different recline positions (upright, half-way/lounging, sleeping) and 2 seperate recline sections (left and right sections). Meaning you could be sound asleep while your buddy is using the upright or "lounge" positions, vice versa, etc. Other features include added legs in hidden zippered compartments that you can fold out for added support when in the sleeping position. I've found it handy to even leave the legs out if I know myself or someone else will be sleeping on it. The mechanism for raising and lowering the back(s) is very simple and sturdy. You'll quickly learn the sounds of the clicks and how far to pull up or lower it. In a nutshell, pull PAST where you want the set the back to allow it to lower, and pull TO or slightly above where you want to set the back to choose a position. Then obviously lower all the way to sleep. The Andora by DHP is one of the nicest pieces of furniture I've ever owned, if you can get past the (obvious) flaws of a futon or sofa, you won't be disappointed. Pro-tip: Save yourself a TON of time and wrist-strain by gathering a basic powered screwdriver with hex bits, and small ratchet set for attaching the arms/sides to the main seating area. Using the included basic wrenches takes forever and left me a bit sore!

save your money ! It lasted 3 months …that’s ridiculous!
I really had high hopes for this full time given the fact that I spent over $300 on it. I thought it would at least last longer than three months. Sadly, it did not . It was in my room and was only used at night for a minimum of six hours sleep. No one sat on it during the day. No one jumped on it. No one did anything to it. My nephew put it together and he is a carpenter by trade so he knew what he was doing. The instructions weren’t that difficult and it was easy to assemble. It did take two people, but it was easy. I only helped with the small stuff. And then the disappointment came three months later when it literally cracked in half while my son who weighs 135 pounds sat on it. He didn’t jump on it. He just sat on it and again nobody really sat on it. It wasn’t being frequently used. It was therefore aesthetic and for if I had overnight, guess such a disappointment.

Good couch, not great bed
Pros: good assembly instructions, nice upholstery, comfortable, modern design, light enough that it COULD be assembled alone, if you’re stubborn. Cons: Putting the arms on was difficult: the pre-cut holes in the fabric didn’t line up quite right and required a little cutting. The individually reclining sections of the back don’t line up completely when not horizontal. It’s lower than a regular couch, so if your knees are bad steer clear. Biggest flaw: center of gravity! When reclined to a bed, you can’t lay/sit on the portion that folds down, because the whole couch acts like a seesaw and will tip over. TL;DR: good couch, is a sweesaw when unfolded.

Patience in Assembly
Wow that was a lot to assemble! But it seems to be well made and I hope to have it a long time. All parts were there, assembly instructions were correct. Wrenches were included and functional. Bolts fed into inserts well, no cross threading. Just took patience and time to assemble. It looks nice, is very firm. Not purchased as a primary sleeper, may seems a bit too firm for that. Should last a long time.

Snappy, comfy, lil’ couch for price!
For the money, this little couch is great! We bought this for a convertible couch for our kids playroom in the basement. We have four kids 6 and under so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money but wanted something solid. Assembly: super easy. My husband is a plumber and über handy with all things so this went together in a snap for us. The kids loved helping turning all the Allen wrenches. Directions were straightforward. All the hardware was present and accounted for. Fabric: color was as described. We have the dark navy blue. I really like it. Should hide stains pretty well. It’s not the most amazing quality fabric but it’s not too soft and def. not rough or scratchy. Comfort: this sofa is not too hard, not too soft. I was expecting it to be super stiff and uncomfortable, but it’s really quite nice. I’m 5’6” and the seat cushions come right to the back of my knees. So this couch is a bit low to the ground but that’s perfect for our needs. My husband is 6’2” and he thought is was too low, naturally. The back of the couch hits me at the top of my shoulders so to rest my head would require me to totally stretch my neck back at like an 80 degree angle. Overall, I think it’s a comfy couch. Functionality: It is a lighter weight sofa so I can move it on my own around the room or to pull out to adjust it to a bed. It’s super easy to adjust the back sections down for the bed.

Amazing
We bought this sofa originally as we was moving into a tiny London flat and a flat pack sofa it was we needed. We didn’t end up in that flat in the end but this sofa is so easy to assemble and comfortable. It is firm but remember it is a bed as well

Parfait

I really like it this couch - it's comfortable and a perfect fit for my office. Pulls out easily on those 14 hour days when I need a quick nap. Very good quality for the price and for what I use it for!

It's okay
For the price I paid in UK, I guess this sofa is okay. It makes noise though when you sit on it and the build quality is average. I am hoping this lasts me for 2 years and then I can upgrade to a better one.
