Seeds work great!!!
These seeds work great after about two weeks they started sprouting. I didnโt even have to use the whole bags of the seeds.

Fully satisfied!!!
I received many seeds, it took almost 10days to germinate, but the germination rate is close to 100%. We planted in different beds. Now we are harvesting frequently and enjoying this! I am very satisfied with this product!

Poor Quality Seeds
Bought them and even bought a nice big planter box for them. Not one single seed spouted!! Pretty bad!!

The first seeds I planted sprouted!
I learned about Malabar Spinach recently and after eating it decided to give growing a shot here in Central Florida. I'll start these in containers because our soil has nematodes and I'm informed that they might be an issue. I planted the first seeds in potting soil (very coarse stuff) after soaking them overnight. I have sprouts after 4 days. I'll be planting the red vein variety in a few days and try that out as ground cover. I'm going to raise some seedlings in a grow hut and see how it works out. It's now 2 weeks later: Every sprout is still wearing it's cotyledons. The red malabar sprouts have been coming up for 3 days. I'm growing some outdoors and some indoors. Mixed success with sprouting in various potting media. 15% success in seed starting mix, 80% in potting mix. 100% seeds planted in the ground. All sprouts look healthy and vigorous and 4 were transplanted. The red malabar seems much more vigorous than the green. Their cotyledons tripled in size before they sprouted more leaves.

Fun to try
Really slow to germinate and only about half germinate at all. The ones that did are growing well.

Successfully germinated.
So far the seeds I planted have germinated. Iโm excited to try this variety. Hopefully it will do well in Texas heat. I will update with photos soon.

Germinated but texture is unpleasant
These seeds germinated well and have grown well in late spring/early summer in Florida. However, they have a slimy texture even when eaten raw. I have not eaten it cooked but in my opinion it is not worth eating raw (which is what I wanted) so I am going to try to grow something different in that spot. The flavor is decent, just slimy texture.
